There's one picture, it's in the video on that link, I can't find it online though, taken right after the shooting, and it's still in my head all these years later, of Billy Blake still handcuffed to the two other prisoners, looking up at the camera with a huge grin on his face.
Kevin Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 That incident (and a couple more similar incidents) changed the way holsters for law enforcement personnel were designed. They are now more secure and much harder for someone other than the officer to pull the weapon from that holster. When I was in the academy we had to learn how to pull our weapon from the holster. That was one of the scenarios that we learned about. It's a shame that someone had to die for the proper changes to be made.
