_BiB_ Posted December 27, 2004 Posted December 27, 2004 He's only going to play whoever is 100% healthy next Sunday. Whether that can be believed or not. The Bills could be looking at a lot of substitutions.

jarthur31 Posted December 27, 2004 Posted December 27, 2004 Oh man, I am stoked about this team as I have ever been!! 1999 comes to mind.
Mark VI Posted December 27, 2004 Posted December 27, 2004 I wonder how much the healthy Cowher ego will come into play ? (Knowing TD, Mularkey and Clements are with the Bills) It would kill him to lay down to us. Yet the Steeler press would eat him alive if an injury occured.

Not to wish ill on anyone, but it wouldn't break my heart for the Bus to come down with the flu on Saturday. I'm more concerned about Bills injuries at this point.

Payback for that one wouldnt be complete unless the whole Steeler team came down with The Plauge.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted December 27, 2004 Posted December 27, 2004 Well, Cowher can play his starters who are "100%," but there's a good chance they won't be after the game is over. You don't want to play a meaningless game (for you) against a team with everything in the world to play for.
stuckincincy Posted December 27, 2004 Posted December 27, 2004 My morning n'paper said the Steelers had 6 starters out for yesterday's game. I'd guess Cowher will rest some troops against BUF. Also, from their perspective, this is an ideal situation get some tune-up game time for the benchwarmers.
Mantis Toboggan M.D Posted December 27, 2004 Posted December 27, 2004 they can play all their starters and we would lay a smackdown on them at home.
ganesh Posted December 27, 2004 Posted December 27, 2004 they can play all their starters and we would lay a smackdown on them at home. 180347 Heard on the local radio that the following players were injured yesterday o Big Ben ofcourse (Lee Suggs drove him to the ground) and he hurt his ribs....Even if the MRI comes negative I doubt they play him on the cold Astro Turf at the Ralph. o DeShea Townsend, starting CB is out with a broken hand.
BillnutinHouston Posted December 27, 2004 Posted December 27, 2004 they can play all their starters and we would lay a smackdown on them at home. 180347 I couldn't agree more. We haven't come this far to lose at home in the final week. We will win regardless. Our defense will play out of their collective mind!
crackur Posted December 27, 2004 Posted December 27, 2004 we're fine with out game whether agaisnt starters or not its the other 2 teams we need help from
