I know there are lots of CB's in F.A. that may be better fits but I'm curious to see what people think of him.
Billshank Redemption Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Per rotoworld he already has a visit planned
stony Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Per rotoworld he already has a visit planned He's a solid CB but his contract is a bit pricey if I remember correctly. It would probably mean the end of McGee's days in Buffalo but that was prob going to happen anyways. Williams, Rout, Drayton, Leodis, and Rogers would be a solid CB corps.
CBD Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 (edited) Tried to search but no luck, got a link? Never mind got it http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playerpages/playerbreakingnews.asp?sport=NFL&id=3183&line=227677&spln=1 Edited February 10, 2012 by Carey Bender
Justice Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 (edited) Stevie Johnson can't be too happy about this. But I sure am. We can use another CB. Edited February 10, 2012 by NoJustice
Erik Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Tried to search but no luck, got a link? They Changed Twitter, so I'm not sure how to link it but here's the tweet: Jason La Canfora @JasonLaCanfora CB Stanford Routt, released by Oakland today, has visits scheduled with Buffalo and Tennessee #insideslant Actually I think you can check it out on LaCanfora's page https://twitter.com/#!/JasonLaCanfora

jjmac Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 I think he's worth a look. If he's worth it and we can afford to sign him. it would eliminate the need to draft a CB until day 3, if at all.

Captain Hindsight Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Buddy asleep at the wheel again. I bet the titans called first. Typical Buffalo I'm so done with this team, Ralph is cheap, I think Brady just sneezed, Fitz isn't the answer and Stevie is more of a number 2 Did I miss any?

The only reason that he even called his agent was because he was cut before midnight.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Sign that man up. If we can shore up one of our glaring weakness before the opening gun of free agency even sounds, I'm all for it.
ryan42790 Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 I like the persistence. This would take a huuge load off Buddy come draft day. He loves his corners, but if we sign him we probably will wait till the 4th or 5th round.
Billshank Redemption Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 I like this a lot I don't care what anyone sais at the right price this is a great signing
biggerdaddynj Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Sometimes stats don't tell the whole story but this year Routt allowed 9 TDs and led the league in penalties with 17.
Dr. Fong Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Sign that man up. If we can shore up one of our glaring weakness before the opening gun of free agency even sounds, I'm all for it. Even if it means taking the Bills out of the market for a pass rusher or a WR in free agency? We know the Bills are only going to pony up so much money, is this where you would have them spend it?
biggerdaddynj Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Finnegan was drafted in the 7th round out of Samford University. Nice drafting, huh? Hope we can build on last year's draft, we might be good in a could of years!!!
