Beerball Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 That would make sense if the next four pages of invoicing weren't for "BB" monograming. That's because I give them to people who have had augmentation surgeries.
BuffaloBillsSD Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 I wonder if Sanborn and a 4th gets it done?
dollars 2 donuts Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 There should probably be some automatic thing where anybody with less than 1000 posts can't reply to a crayonz post. For their own good. Â Â Â Â Nice, bbb, and thanks for the props above. I tried to tip of some of the younglings, buuutttt...
Just Jack Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 No. Mine was right. You can probably look it up on the internet. Â Anyway, even if mine was slightly off yours is stupid. Dollars to donuts to pay them off? That is a short range. What about cars, vacations, women, beer? None of that stuff fits between dollars and donuts. I can't even think of anything else starting with D that would be good for a bribe. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUIh2U7hFAo
Billshank Redemption Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 Literally the stupidest thread I've ever read. They wouldnt trade him for two firsts
Hater Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 Why do people like this guy, is because of his last name can be used as a nickname because otherwise he an Idiot, he gets bet in the superbowl then goes out parting like nothing happened but Wes Welker is getting Butterfingers dump & people acting like its his fault they lost, Gronkowski is a total ass he use his bye week to go have sex with Pornstar Bibi Jones in Arizona & Bob Kraft tells everyone what "Moral & Decent young men that are on his team not like other teams" The Patriots make me sick what a bunch of sore losers & jerks
RealityCheck Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 Right now in New England there is a huge controversy over Gronk dancing shirtless after the Pats lost the Super Bowl. Couple that with the fact that he caused a pick, blew it big time on the Hail Mary and they already have Aaron Gonzalez and we may be looking at a young star on the trading block. We also know the Pats love stockpiling future picks. Gronk is from Buffalo. Do you think we'd give a 2nd plus a 2013 2nd? I say patience. It's only a matter of time before we get him off the waiver wire for nothing.
bbb Posted February 10, 2012 Author Posted February 10, 2012 Â Â Nice, bbb, and thanks for the props above. I tried to tip of some of the younglings, buuutttt... Â The 1000 post rule strikes again! X2
FrankReichComeback Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Even on a very badly hurt ankle (which will likely require surgery) Gronk still was getting downfield. This was pretty amazing given the fact that it was pretty apparent New England downplayed his injury. He won't be going anywhere. Despite the fact he's not the sharpest tool in the shed, he has the potential to be one of the all-time greats at the position if he can stay injury-free
San Jose Bills Fan Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Links:  http://www.buffalone...ticle704679.ece (See where Troup says he had the Disc problem since college).  http://walterfootbal...draft2010_3.php (note 3rd round draft projection, to Miami!)  Taking a player who has any sort of back problem to play nose tackle, who is projected to go in the 3rd round, with your second round pick is crazy. (as evidenced by Troup's later issues in the NFL!) You all can apologize to me now for thinking I made up the fact that he had a back issue in college I will accept either apologies, or donations of Beer for use at next Bills game  This pick is particularly bad when you consider that Terrance Cody, from Alabama, was avaialble and was the starting NT for the Ravens 2nd ranked D in 2011. Other quality DT's were also avaialble as well. Imagine a line of Williams, Cody, Dearus and Kyle Williams/new draft pick/Edwards, etc. Line would be fantastic. Thanks for responding.   The second link of course doesn't address any back issues… just your point about Troup being overvalued by the Bills… which I wasn't arguing.  As for the issue at hand, I'd Googled Troup and his back injury on several occasions and had not found anything stating he had a pre-existing back condition.  However your first link from the Buffalo News IS straight from the horse's mouth… Troup say he "had the disc problem going back to college."  The linked Buffalo News article in which he says this is dated less than one month ago so it's a VERY recent revelation.  As AP mentioned upthread, it's odd that there was never anything written before, during, or after the draft about his back.  I'll apologize a bit but as I said earlier, I'd raised this issue before (as had others) and you had not responded… so what are people to think?  Sorry for the lukewarm apology but kudos for re-visiting this topic. I wish more people would be accountable for their posts as there are few things as annoying as "hit and run" posts on a message board.  Good job, Ryan.        Â

It seems curious to me. Bad ankle or not, you have to try. Is it possible that growing up as a Bills fan makes it harder for him to give 100% as a Patriot?

Is it possible that growing up as a Bills fan makes it harder for him to give 100% as a Patriot? We all know he can dance, don't many of us remember hearing about him taking dance lessons there in town? Not matter the ankle we know he can move his feet. He did not fight.
NoSaint Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 I'd be curious to hear more on the disc thing. It could be nothing or it could be noteworthy. To say it's proof of real back issues may be a jump but.... I don't really know.

Why would the bills want a tight end that can't make plays in the red zone??? Pass.
Captain Hindsight Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 I was replying to this. Â The way I read the very same quote (from the article, not the poster) is...3-4 dts are hard to come by so some team is going to reach for Troup. But, that's just me. Also, to this point in time, using Hindsight...I'd say he was picked too early.
Tcali Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Patriots drafting of Gronk...while slightly controversial at the time-is further evidence that they are a superior organization to just about every organization in the NFL. They just make a higher % of good decisions than the Buffalos and Clevelands. Â That said(sounds Seinfeldish)-the non-drafting of Gronk in itself is nothing to beat the Bills organization up about.
bbb Posted February 10, 2012 Author Posted February 10, 2012 It's easier to take chances when you already have a good team and have a stockpile of draft picks every year.
Tcali Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 It's easier to take chances when you already have a good team and have a stockpile of draft picks every year. Very true. However, a lot of good decision making went into having that good team and that stockpile of choices.-So one should give the Pats the benefit of the doubt that it wasn't complete luck on their part that Gronk turned out to be a great player.
