Mr. WEO Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 (edited) Sure, but Vegas is never going to pay true odds (assuming they were even possible to calculate) on such a long shot bet. There's no point; no one is going to say "Hmmm....I'd take that bet at 75:1 but not 50:1". If you are into taking crazy long shot bets, than you play it, simple as that. That's why almost every team in the NFL is listed as a 50-1 or better shot to win next year's Super Bowl. Do the Bills really have a 50-1 shot? Of course not. But Bills fans are still going to bet it. Not really. Marv's Neighbor Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 That's funny! I was looing at one of the Las Vegas Sports Book sites, before the game, and saw that there was a bet that the first score would be a Safety. The odds when i looked were 60:1. I thought who the hell would ever bet on that? Guess now I know!
KD in CA Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Not really. Anyway: http://www.bloomberg...nts-at-8-1.html Not that the exact number is material to my argument, but 25 out of 32 are 50-1 or better.
Best Player Available Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Heard on the radio the guy is giving every penny to charities. He even will donate to Tom Brady's charity of choice. Stand up guy.

Stand up guy. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/giants-fan-won-50-000-super-bowl-safety-191343682.html He is trying to donate 5000 to Justin Tuck's charity of choice and the rest to another charity. The craziest part is he only makes 1 super bowl bet a year. This is turning into a better and better story!
