stony Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 I think Isaiah Pead is getting a bad rap from what I've read. I see his blitz pickup as excellent and some draftniks are criticizing his blocking. And his running ain't bad--prolly best in the Big East. youtube.com/watch?v=HrzIRGwiA2Q I didn't look up his specs, but he looks/runs really similar to Freddy. Pretty cool.
#34fan Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Nine picks? Super Bowl! Re-sign Chandler, Jackson, Johnson 1 Whitney Mercilus DE43 Illinois 2 Ronnell Lewis OLB43 Oklahoma 3 Lavonte David OLB43 Nebraska 4 Leonard Johnson CB Iowa State 4 Mike Daniels DT43 Iowa 5 Landon Walker OT Clemson 5 Isaiah Pead RBF Cincinnati 6 Russell Wilson QB Wisconsin 7 Brian Quick WRP Appalachian State I LOVE the Pead pick. I followed him at Cincinatti, but I never thought he'd fall to round 5. Not so sure about Russell Wilson. He has tremendous ability, but he may be a bit on the short side. My favorite of your picks is, of course, Mercilus. People were projecting he'd be there in the second, hopefully he'll be there after we WASTE a #10 pick on Upshaw, who seems like more of a 4-3DT, than 4-3DE.
