Rob's House Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 (edited) First, I try to get a pass rushing DE pre-draft. If we can't get one of the name FAs (M. Williams, Avril, Mathis) I make a play for Osi Umenyiora. The Giants are looking to trade him this offseason and if we could get him for a 4th (we've got 2) conditional upon working out a new deal with him (40mil/5yrs?) that immediately fills our DE spot without using any of our early picks. In the first I take Zach Brown at OLB. In this passing league big receiving TEs are en vogue and we play NE twice a year. Having a LB that can move like a DB and cover TEs and RBs out of the back field would be huge. In the second I get the best pass rushing 4-3 DE (Andre Branch, Vinny Curry, etc). We groom him behind our newly acquired veteran and he's insurance in case the other guy gets injured. At the other DE spot we have Kelsay and Carrington. Between Barnett, Shepherd, and Bryan Scott we should be okay for the other 2 LB spots, drafting for depth at LB in later rounds. What would yall do? Edited January 31, 2012 by Rob's House
