Captain Hindsight Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 (edited) Where did this guy even come from? Just out of nowhere the Bills pulled this guy from the scrapheap and made him a starter. You think the steelers or the patriots do this? Typical buffalo Ralph is so cheap he probably didn't even scout him and keeps him around so he won't have to pa a pro bowler And we have NOOOOOO DEPTH at this position. I hope Buddy has a replacement in mind before this guy costs us a game. Edited January 26, 2012 by Captain Hindsight
Whitey13 Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Are you really starting a thread over a long snapper? Dude get a life.
CBD Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 I don't really see him as a #1 long snapper, more of a #2
ICanSleepWhenI'mDead Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 I don't really see him as a #1 long snapper, more of a #2 The best snappers can snap for both left-footed and right-footed kickers - - something Sanborn has yet to prove that he can do.
dpberr Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 The title of this post gave me a great laugh. Thank you. I just imagined this coming on the McLaughlin Hour all loaded for bear with seriousness.
KD in CA Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 (edited) A franchise long snapper? Edited January 26, 2012 by KD in CT
Meathead Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 well done ignore the fact that most people dont get it, still well done ralph is cheap
Captain Hindsight Posted January 26, 2012 Author Posted January 26, 2012 I mean lets be honest. This team isn't going anywhere until we nail down that position. This guy got two kickers on IR. He's a liability clearly
bklnpete Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 When we let Dorenbos leave I knew there'd be trouble. I mean c'mon, Sanborn doesn't even use Twitter...wtf?! My link
SageAgainstTheMachine Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 You guys are ridiculous. Sanborn might not be the type of long snapper that can win games single-handedly, but Patrick Mannelly ain't walkin' through that door! Is Sanborn a franchise long snapper? No. Do we need to create yet another hole (one which we'd realistically have to spend a 1st or 2nd rounder to replace)? No.
K-9 Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Can never have too many long snappers. GO BILLS!!!
BuffaloBillsSD Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 The only question is do the Bills go Kicker then Long Snapper or Long Snapper then Kicker. Buddy could throw a curve ball and trade next years 1 to get a Punter as well in the first two rounds.

Buddy could throw a curve ball and trade next years 1 to get a Punter as well in the first two rounds. Think about it. If the snap never gets to the holder, what role does the kicker even play? I'm all for drafting a long snapper #10 and then trading back into the 1st round for a kicker. Edited January 26, 2012 by SageAgainstTheMachine
The Cincinnati Kid Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Listen, at least this Sanborn guy has yet to make a fatal mistake like that Trey Junkin did for the Giants in the early 2000's. So we got that going for us...which is good. Oh, and uh, Lama! How about something, ya know, for the effort?

I expect my royalty check in the mail soon http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/121777-cut-garrison-sanborn/page__fromsearch__1
uticaclub Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 I think long snapper if one of the few strenghts this team has. Moorman is no longer the all world punter he once was, we need to either use r pick at 10 to draft another one who can sit the bench and learn moormans work ethic or trade for lechler.
PromoTheRobot Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 If there is a long snapper at #10 I say we grab him. PTR
mob16151 Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 I think we should trade our first round pick for the Patriots Long snapper, he's clearly a franchise guy. I'm just worried that the tenth pick won't be enough. I'd be willing to throw in a third I guess if that's what it takes.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 (edited) If there is a long snapper at #10 I say we grab him. PTR I still have pass rusher as our number one need. Long snapper is right up there… probably one tick ahead of game-breaking receiver. JMO. Edited January 26, 2012 by San Jose Bills Fan
