T master Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 Went to NFL .com & was looking around & saw that Mike Mayock had his picks for his top 10 QB's coming out in this years draft , although i will say i don't agree with one of them for the most part i think his list is pretty good .. #10 Andrew Luck - #2) R G 3 - #3) Ryan Tannehil - #4) Brandon Weeden - #5) Nick foles - #6) Brock Osweiler - #7) Kirk Cousins - #8) Ryan Lindley #9) Russel Wilson - #10) Kellen Moore - There you have it from they say one of the best !! No mention of a 5 yr starter that threw for over 5000 yds 3 yrs & threw over 70% comp . for 2 yrs in his college career Case Keenum that one i don't get but he's not the only one !! I have my picks but will wait for a while to see what happens a little further down the road !!
ajzepp Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 I would draft Kellen Moore. He's the one who fits the criteria from those QB formulas they use, and last year Dalton was the one who fit it...Moore is a gamer. I'd pick him up and see what happens.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 Shopp thinks we should draft all those guys

ajzepp Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 Where is Landry? He's staying for senior year.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 I think BJ Coleman fron Tenn-Chatt would be a good option in the 4-5 rnd. Looks the part and has a nice arm with good zip and accuracy, played real well in the E-W game.
Wagon Circler Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 I saw Wheedon a bunch of times and really like him but isn't he like...old?

He has been off Mayock's radar, but he won't stay that way.
BuffaloBaumer Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 Trent Dilfer was on Sportcenter last night saying that if Nick Foles had any sort of team around him, he wold have been rated higher than Bradford when he came out. Don't know anything about Foles but it was interesting to hear. He said the kid has got everything you need to be a NFL QB with the only knock being (not the biggest arm in the biz)

I remember a possession WR they had too. Maybe Criner. Both were the best guys on the field.
thebug Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 Isn't Moore less than 6'? Same height as Brees. 6.0 ft. (not saying he is as good) Just saying.
Bronc24 Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 5'11 3/4 http://www.milehighreport.com/2012/1/23/2728221/senior-bowl-2012-north-roster Wilson too, for what it's worth...he's 5'10 5/8

If I was an NFL GM, I would hire someone to design a test to see how quickly someone can recognize and react to visual stimuli. The idea would be to give someone five or ten different visual cues, and require him to make a quick, accurate decision based on those cues. Someone who did well on such a test would presumably do well at quickly going through his reads, instead of locking on to one particular guy.

The formulas are geared towards 1st/2nd round prospects I believe. If Dilfer's analysis is accurate, it would make Foles a very tempting QB prospect! Light up rings to throw through with glasses monitoring eye movement

Considered small though. He's like 5'10. I think he would be worth a 6th rounde. SOme have him going to CFL.
thebandit27 Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 Anyone have a link to Mayock's rankings? I looked at NFL.com and didn't see anything...
