DC Tom Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Just like they shouldn't be able to force Table Saw producers to incoporate skin sensing technology in their machinery.... Different court. But an asinine decision nonetheless. You stick your hand into the moving blade of a Ryobi contractor saw, you expect it to tickle?
B-Large Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Different court. But an asinine decision nonetheless. You stick your hand into the moving blade of a Ryobi contractor saw, you expect it to tickle? They make push sticks for a reason, mostly not to cut your fingers off.... among the fact they are fun! I have cut half way through my ring finger with my bandsaw, as it was shutting down, and I was STUPID to whish away some debris.... probably have 9 fingers in that thing was running.... Probably be more careful from now on....
Koko78 Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 The circuit courts were all over the place with their rulings on this subject. It doesn't stop the practice, just forces law enforcement to spend 5 mins typing up and securing a warrant. It's never a bad thing when the cops actually have to do their jobs right.
