eventualchamps Posted December 27, 2004 Posted December 27, 2004 That is the question that must be answered when we win next Sunday and clinch a playoff berth.
PromoTheRobot Posted December 27, 2004 Posted December 27, 2004 That is the question that must be answered when we win next Sunday and clinch a playoff berth. 179312 No...taxpayers will have to pay to replace them. PTR
BF_in_Indiana Posted December 27, 2004 Posted December 27, 2004 I could see Buffalo fans as the only group of fans in the NFL that would tear down the goalposts after a Super Bowl win.
Albany,n.y. Posted December 27, 2004 Posted December 27, 2004 Ever since the fans ripped up the turf with a game to go in 1991, if you try to go on the field you can expect security to kick your @ss.
JohninMinn. Posted December 27, 2004 Posted December 27, 2004 Yes the only Posts left to come down are in Jacksonville right now!!
linksfiend Posted December 27, 2004 Posted December 27, 2004 That is the question that must be answered when we win next Sunday and clinch a playoff berth. 179312 Only if the Jets already lost. It would look kinda stupid to tear down the posts if the Jets win and Denver goes on to win later that afternoon.

Bear Posted December 27, 2004 Posted December 27, 2004 Entering the field at any point during or after the game is an automatic $500 fine and a trip straight to jail. 180101 Yeah, but if everyone did it they could build a new stadium next year!
rockpile Posted December 27, 2004 Posted December 27, 2004 I am sure the perimeter of the field will be lined by off-duty police their "nice doggies".
Gavin in Va Beach Posted December 27, 2004 Posted December 27, 2004 Ripping down the goal posts is so cliche. Buffalo needs to start a new tradition, like every woman going topless to celebrate a big win!
Tux of Borg Posted December 27, 2004 Posted December 27, 2004 No...taxpayers will have to pay to replace them. PTR 179315 What are they going to do, raise our sales tax to 9.25%
Thailog80 Posted December 27, 2004 Posted December 27, 2004 Stay off the goddamn field. Is nothing sacred?
JohninMinn. Posted December 27, 2004 Posted December 27, 2004 Stay off the goddamn field. Is nothing sacred? 180131 I walked on the field with my Dad after we beat the Jets and clinched in 89. It was a magical moment as thousands were out there. The Super Bowl posts are the only ones we need to take down. Like mentioned above somehow I can picture Bills fans being the first to do it.

It's not like we'll win the Super Bowl at home.
JohninMinn. Posted December 27, 2004 Posted December 27, 2004 When though? The season after? It's not like we'll win the Super Bowl at home. 180143 IN JACKSONVILLE! HELLOOOO We'll have fans there....
Gary M Posted December 27, 2004 Posted December 27, 2004 Ripping down the goal posts is so cliche. Buffalo needs to start a new tradition, like every woman going topless to celebrate a big win! 180124 Supposed to be in the 40s Sunday, so the ladies could do some sunnin'.
Corp000085 Posted December 27, 2004 Posted December 27, 2004 i say leave the posts. Imagine the bills ripping off 3 straight wins, and the jets and broncos losing this sunday. hmmm, that leaves a possibility of a HOME AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME! We'll need those lucky goalposts.
