Mr. WEO Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 Cowher only if Manning stays. If Manning stays they are screwed for cap space on a team with a horrible offensive line, an aging defensive line, and a terrible secondary. If Colts want to survive as a franchise they need to trade Manning or trade Luck for a kings ransom. What if Peyton can play another 4 years and they got two number ones and two number twp's plus a player or two for luck? If Manning is healthy, I would consider trading the number 1 to Cleveland for Joe Thomas and a few other picks. Didnt the Colts win 10 games last season and 14 the year before? Horrible offensive line? Manning would disagree. So would Painter--who was only sacked 35 times. No QB has been as well protected throughout his career as has MAnning. Sure, he has a "quick release", etc, but he always has had time to throw. Trading Luck would be a disaster. How, after this season, do you gamble that an aging and injured Manning has "another 4 years"??
apuszczalowski Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 (edited) One time, he walked across water just to save a little kitten A Kitten he threw out there as a motivational tool to teach his team how to win! Cowher would walk accross the Water Bruschi and Bellicheck would remove the water then float to the kitten.................where they would then club and eat it As for manning, could't he agree to renegotiate his deal to make it more "cap friendly"? He doesn't seem to me to be the kind of guy who is only out for himself and the money before his team Edited January 18, 2012 by apuszczalowski

They are blowing it up and building a new team around pick #1. The kicker is they may end up cutting the best qb in nfl history rather than eat the signing bonus only to try and trade him. The Big Cat Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 John Gruden would definitely come out of retirement for this one. You think Gruden's sitting on a pile of job offers? Or Herm Edwards, for that matter?
mattsox Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 Marty Morningweh lol. In all seriousness though apparently he's a canidate for the raiders job. Morningweh? LOL, The Raiders... Haven't they had like 10 coaches in 10 years. And we think we got things bad. They still suck and mortgaged their Future on Getting Palmer. Sadly they may have a better chance of turning it around next season... Ya never know

And after the initial shock Of life without manning they started playing better ball as the season went on. With a good draft includIng luck they'll be a playoff team again IF they can get a good coaching staff to make it all work
C.Biscuit97 Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 He was a terrible college coach and a terrible pro coach. I don't think he has blinked yet.
