I look forward to seeing the same in St. Louis now...
CJPearl2 Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 I look forward to seeing him get even fatter on a steady diet of ribs.
FrankReichComeback Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Yeah what is up with GW in just two years he went from a skinny little dictator looking coach to a bloated stoner look with tinted glasses and a visor. The guy looks ridiculous
Dirtbag Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Yeah what is up with GW in just two years he went from a skinny little dictator looking coach to a bloated stoner look with tinted glasses and a visor. The guy looks ridiculous that ain't no stoner -- that's dr. heat!
reddogblitz Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Greggo going to the Rams. http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/id/52322/report-gregg-williams-leaving-saints first paragraph says Gregg was offensive co ordinator for the Saints! Who knew? Maybe that's why thier defense stunk it up this year?
BRAWNDO Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Not surprising considering his friendship with Fisher. Is anyone else surprised that Mularkey got a second chance as a HC prior to Williams?
truth on hold Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Never understood how someone could be labelled a defensive "genius" for calling the same play every time.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 I look forward to seeing him get even fatter on a steady diet of ribs. This is also from a guy who claimed he hated fat people. I am still trying to block out the Gregg Williams years--what an utter disaster.
Dirtbag Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Never understood how someone could be labelled a defensive "genius" for calling the same play every time. dude, he's got a doctorate in heat. that demands respect.
Nanker Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 I do think he outlived his welcome in The Big Easy.
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 Greggo going to the Rams. http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/id/52322/report-gregg-williams-leaving-saints Is there any way he didn't know that on the sidelines in no? Thats mighty quick.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 I wonder if Greggo's personal trainer uses a megaphone when he's running fatty through his early-morning calisthenics.
vincec Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 Mike Nolan to the Saints. That would be a great pickup for them.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 Mike Nolan to the Saints. That would be a great pickup for them. Good call. His Dad went on to coach the Saints after leaving San Francisco back in the 70's. Of course there's still a chance that Miami will want to retain him.

Not to mention Mularkey and Jauron...who would have though we would fondly remember the Phillips years as the good old days

NoSaint Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 (edited) Good call. His Dad went on to coach the Saints after leaving San Francisco back in the 70's. Of course there's still a chance that Miami will want to retain him. Right now the 3 names are Nolan, spags, or del rio to replace him. Del rio seems most seamless schene and player personnel and is friends with Sean Peyton Unless spags can whip this front 4 into shape (lord knows with no first or FA dollars a pass rushers hard to come by) which he is better long term but with a chance for a home superbowl I'm thinking this team is all in this year And Nolan would be GREAT longterm but I worry about stocking the 34 personnel given the cap and lack of a top pick. San Jose Bills Fan Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 Right now the 3 names are Nolan, spags, or del rio to replace him. Not to slight Greggo too much but I'm thinking the Saints will be just fine without him.
NoSaint Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 Not to slight Greggo too much but I'm thinking the Saints will be just fine without him. I think all 3 are a step up long term. The only issue short term being fitting personnel into plans effectively.
