truth on hold Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 (edited) Nicks!!! Edited January 15, 2012 by Joe_the_6_pack
IslandBillsFan Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 TD NYG! I have trouble rooting for either of these teams, however for the sake of entertainment, I guess I would like to see GB get to the Superbowl.
truth on hold Posted January 15, 2012 Author Posted January 15, 2012 Could we be looking at early stages of giants pats super bowl rematch ?
Bills!Win! Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 We should always root against the teams that made the superbowl the previous year (pitt and GB) because we want to be the only team to make the Superbowl 3 and 4 straight years.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Hakeem Nicks has been battling injuries all season long. He's often overlooked in the discussion of elite receivers but he's probably in the top 5… I'd certainly have him above Roddy White and with all the injuries, Andre Johnson doesn't make my list anymore. I'd almost rather have Nicks than Fitzgerald… but it's close. Point is, Nicks is superb.
truth on hold Posted January 15, 2012 Author Posted January 15, 2012 Clearly a fumble. Refs doing the Lambeau leap when packers were reeling.
Bills!Win! Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Giants better win this game. They're playing against the Packers and the Zebras.
BB2004 Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 I thought we had instant replay? Maybe the video booth didn't work.
truth on hold Posted January 15, 2012 Author Posted January 15, 2012 (edited) Giants are an incredibly resilient team, so the bad call won't effect them emotionally at least. Edited January 15, 2012 by Joe_the_6_pack
San Jose Bills Fan Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 The ref Bill Leavy (who I think is probably a great person) is the same ref who botched the Steelers-Seahawks Super Bowl. Tons of dropped passes by the Green Bay players. Big time throw… Manning to Cruz. Eli can sling it and Green Bay better show more pass rush… especially without Matthews.
truth on hold Posted January 15, 2012 Author Posted January 15, 2012 (edited) How in the world was that not PF on hawk? Edited January 15, 2012 by Joe_the_6_pack
San Jose Bills Fan Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 I guess this fumble won't be overturned.
truth on hold Posted January 15, 2012 Author Posted January 15, 2012 Great great great call faking the sideline route.
Steve O Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 I just love seeing a time out from the sideline at the last second before a play backfire
San Jose Bills Fan Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 (edited) Great run by Rodgers. He is an exceptional athlete for his position. Another supposed Pro Bowl left tackle (Chad Clifton) gets undressed… even with inside help. Did Clifton even touch Osi? I'll say it again. Offensive tackle play in this league is nearing an all-time low… or all this passing is making it seem so. Wow. The Giants Defense. Edited January 15, 2012 by San Jose Bills Fan
Charles Romes Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Uminyora might have won the game with that strip. His price in the offseason was a late first. Probably worth it for a premium pass rusher.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Uminyora might have won the game with that strip. His price in the offseason was a late first. Probably worth it for a premium pass rusher. Yep. The only thing bringing his value down was that he was injury-prone this year. Hakeem Nicks just waltzed around Tramon Williams like he wasn't even there… but the Packers force 4th down.
truth on hold Posted January 15, 2012 Author Posted January 15, 2012 Call me crazy but I would have gone on 4th and a foot. Wouldn't want my defense back on the field that fast after 3 n out.
BB2004 Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Giants are an incredibly resilient team, so the bad call won't effect them emotionally at least. Regardless of the outcome from here on out (about 8 mins left in the 3rd quarter), Joe you were right on target.
