deep2evans
who do you take? couple buddies and i been thinking about it all afternoon, and we can't even come close to a consensus. yes, a good left tackle is important, but more important than a great skill player? is a stud WR or RB more valuable? i'm going 1. Rodgers 2. Megatron 3. Pat Willis 4. Demarcus Ware 5. Ngata
mrags
Are we talking right now or at any point in thier careers? If were going with this season only for future going forward: Aaron Rodgers Andre Johnson Patrick Willis Aldon Smith (because I think he's going to be GREAT) Nnamdi Asomough if were talking about current players in thier primes: Tom Brady Terrell Owens Ray Lewis Terrell Suggs Antoine Winfield

Thoner7
They all have to be studs and young Rogers (a little too old but still 10 yrs left. I would consider Newton or Stafford too) Megatron Gronkowski Piere-Paul Aldon Smith, or maybe Suh Or 5 Tebows

Ngata Hard to argue with this list...although I think I would plug in an OT instead of Ngata with Ware and Willis already on the squad to wreak havoc on the D. You can grab a good DT like Kyle Williams later.
San Jose Bills Fan
I wouldn't take an offensive tackle because there are no great ones in the NFL right now. Very good yes, great ones no. I would have Aldon Smith AND Jason Pierre-Paul… the two best young pass rushers in the game and both good run players as well. I would take either of them ahead of any offensive tackle. Edited January 14, 2012 by San Jose Bills Fan

But I agree with you and Beerball about Joe Thomas. It's possible I've discounted him somewhat due to him playing in virtual anonymity. But I stand by my belief that this is not a golden age for offensive tackles.

NoSaint
Well, I do believe in the 4 pillars so Rodgers Joe Thomas Revis Ware (maybe a few others here... Aldon smith has been unreal as a rook, Pierre paulsa freak) And I think that Calvin Johnson could be a once in a generation NFL player (not just wideout) and is young so he's my 5th I think you could walk out just about anyone with them and be a contender.
