San Jose Bills Fan Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 I think Brees is going to take control of this game. He's certainly capable of it. Niners O has to make a statement now.
Bob in STL Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Maybe if we did not wait until the seventh round we could get a stud TE?
NoSaint Posted January 14, 2012 Author Posted January 14, 2012 (edited) New Orleans pass protection!!! put a stopwatch on Brees he has 3-4 seconds to throw every time. Using 6 lineman some plays and backs are chipping almost every snap Tie at the half? 9ers sure hope! Edited January 14, 2012 by NoSaint
NoSaint Posted January 14, 2012 Author Posted January 14, 2012 That was the exact play that tries to justify the tuck rule.... Never meant to leave his hand
Jerry Jabber Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Love seeing how fast the 49ers D closes the gap on the Saints WR's. Wish the Bills could do that.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Greggggo's defense holds Aided by two dropped passes by Crabtree.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 I will be satisfied if Gregg Williams, in his dopey tinted glasses, looked befuddled for most of the game.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Love seeing how fast the 49ers D closes the gap on the Saints WR's. Wish the Bills could do that. They had 4 pro bowlers and 4 pro bowl alternates from their defense. And that doesn't even include Aldon Smith, the prize rookie.
truth on hold Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Unreal throw and catch. What happened to the saints being nervous? Telling you it was just a few flukey turnovers. Whats flukey about straight up interceptions and jarring the ball loose on a hit?
NoSaint Posted January 14, 2012 Author Posted January 14, 2012 Whats flukey about straight up interceptions and jarring the ball loose on a hit? Flukey for this offense. The type you don't expect to see all day, especially at the 3 yard line. Or a kick returner lose the ball because he hasnt returned a kick since 2010. Eventually you think that evens back out
San Jose Bills Fan Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Did we trade kyle williams? The Niners also have a player named CJ Spillman.
truth on hold Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 The Niners also have a player named CJ Spillman. Corenthal James?
Bob in STL Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 The Niners also have a player named CJ Spillman. They have a Whitner too.
NoSaint Posted January 14, 2012 Author Posted January 14, 2012 That postseason int stat is part of why I said flukey. 9ers d has played very well though. Credit deserved
truth on hold Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 That postseason int stat is part of why I said flukey. 9ers d has played very well though. Credit deserved That's my point. You can't take credit away from the defense for them. That said I think saints will win because 9'ers offense is pretty much done for the day
Jerry Jabber Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 They had 4 pro bowlers and 4 pro bowl alternates from their defense. And that doesn't even include Aldon Smith, the prize rookie. The 49ers D is very impressive. It would be great to see our D get close to that kind of production. The last Good combo the Bills had at LB were Spikes, Fletcher, Crowell. I like Barnett & Sheppard, so if Boss Hogg can get a very good OLB either in FA or the draft, plus a good pass rushing DE, then we'll have a good defense again.
