Hapless Bills Fan Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 youtube.com/watch?v=li2MkR0wHtQ&feature=youtube_gdata_player What are they saying?
NoSaint Posted January 14, 2012 Author Posted January 14, 2012 (edited) What are they saying? It was their 2009 season chant modeled after after a marine chant drew learned visiting the troops- this is him breaking it down after the superbowl parade. Basic call back chant where drew says 1 team yells 2 drew yells win team yells for you, counts up and finishes out 9 --- 10, win --- again and they repeat the win again part Edited January 14, 2012 by NoSaint
San Jose Bills Fan Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 I've never been a Huey Lewis fan but that a cappella Star-Spangled Banner was soulful and beautiful. Football wise, the grass looks fast and healthy. It might not slow the Saints down as much as I thought. Actually I don't think I've seen the Candlestick field look so good.
Beerball Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 (edited) Ticky tack call against Whitner. Followed by 2 nice hits. Edited January 14, 2012 by Beerball
San Jose Bills Fan Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Jimmy Graham to the locker room. Whitner nice play on the screen to Sproles.
Rob's House Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Lil Donte knocked Pierre Thomas clean out.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Whitner's playing like a man possessed. Wow, what a knockout tackle on 3rd down. Graham has a possible concussion. Fumble and Niners ball!!! What a play by Whitner.
snamsnoops Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 (edited) Looks like HE was knocked out on that fumble Nice helmet to helmet hit by Whitner Edited January 14, 2012 by snamsnoops
San Jose Bills Fan Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 This is already a better game than any Whitner ever played for the Buffalo Bills. Crabtrree with a great catch on the quick slant…now the Niners have 3 extra O-linemen. Running play, first down.
NoSaint Posted January 14, 2012 Author Posted January 14, 2012 Looks like HE was knocked out on that fumble He was out cold. Helmet hit and he went down limp. Didn't try to hold the ball, brace himself, or anything else to indicate he was awake.
\GoBillsInDallas/ Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Those 49er 1980's unis are so cool.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 This will be a nice case study on the passing game vs running game debate which has dominated our forum lately.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Saints aren't soft! Nope. This game is a war! Huge play by Roman Harper and he did a great job of not getting a personal foul. Nice fumble recovery by Frank Gore. Andy Lee might be a big advantage today… the best punters in the NFL work in the Bay Area.

Should be a great kicking game. Casillas had a nice tackle there after the tipped punt last kick- not a bad start for him on special teams. Like that kid a lot. Edited January 14, 2012 by NoSaint
truth on hold Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Pretty rare when Saints take a coverage sack. Usually Brees gets it out quicker
San Jose Bills Fan Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Aldon Smith using athleticism and hand technique to get that sack. No real moves. Bushrod is a good tackle but another reminder that there are no great left tackles in the NFL today. I forgot Morestead was such an excellent punter. Say what you want about Alex Smith… he can sling the rock. This game so far is zero surprise to anyone who's watched the Niners this year. Zero.

No one behind them! Bushrod terrifies me. He needs a lot of help today.
