Damian Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 For those of you wanting Tebow, take a look at Chandler Harnish, the QB for Northern Illinois. He will be playing in the Shrine game on 1/21. For the stat-oriented: My link His QB rating, TD to INT ratio, completion % and his rushing yards are all excellent. Going just by the stats, he would be worth a later round pick.
reddogblitz Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 I saw him in the goDaddy Bowl on Sunday night. He looked decent. Not quite as good as Levi Brown did in his bowl game 2 years ago though.
Damian Posted January 13, 2012 Author Posted January 13, 2012 Tebow's senior year: 2895 yds passing, 910 yds rushing Harnish's senior year: 3216 yds passing, 1379 yds rushing And Tebow was surrounded by a lot more talent at Florida than Harnish was at NIU. Bills could get Harnish in the later rounds and start breaking him in by using him in wildcat formations.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 What's his favorite scripture? Just kidding!

I saw him in that game too. He seemed to be much better in that game before his ankle injury than after.
STLBILLS15 Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 (edited) Tebow's senior year: 2895 yds passing, 910 yds rushing Harnish's senior year: 3216 yds passing, 1379 yds rushing And Tebow was surrounded by a lot more talent at Florida than Harnish was at NIU. Bills could get Harnish in the later rounds and start breaking him in by using him in wildcat formations. Tebow also played much better competition Bama LSU Auburn Georgia And in General the rest of the SEC, which has been the best BCS conference in the past 6 years. Harnish Played: 9/10 @Kansas L 3 9/17 Wisconsin L 49-7 9/24 Cal Poly W 47-30 10/1 @Central Michigan L 48-41 10/8 Kent State W 40-10 10/15 Western Michigan W 51-22 10/22 @Buffalo W 31-30 11/1 @Toledo W 63-60 11/8 @Bowling Green W 45-14 11/15 Ball State W 41-38 11/25 Eastern Michigan W 18-12 12/2 Ohio Looks to me the only real great team he faced was Wisconsin. Keep in mind those stats are only for their senior seasons. If we go Best season vs. best season it looks like this Tebow in 2007 - 3,286 Yards 32 Td's,6 INT's 67% completion % (172.5 QBR) 895 rushing yards and 23 Tds Harnish in 2011- (with the stats listed in previous post) 61.7% 28td's 6ints All for a 155.0 QBR Granted Tebow played with guys like Harvin, but he played against guys like Dareus. According to the correlation, he may be worth that late round flyer pickor brought in as an UDFA. Edited January 13, 2012 by STLBILLS15
