Would love the Bills to take him at 10. Game changer who potentially would solidify our secondary.

Give me him, Reif ,Hightower , or Mercilous and I'd be thrilled.

Hightower, or Upshaw?

I asked because I though Hightower played the inside.

You're right.

Hightower is predominantly an inside backer who is sometimes used as an edge rusher on passing downs.

Very rare to see this sort of skill set but I guess he's a pretty rare player.

BTW, Mathias Kiwanuka was an excellent edge rusher early in his Giants career but because of an abundance of edge rushers and injuries inside, Kiwanuka played mostly MLB this year and was an EXCELLENT sideline to sideline defender.

He used his great athleticism and pass rush speed to run down plays all over the field.

While he's a different type of player than Hightower (at least as far as body type, MK is very rangy) It goes to show that some players can excel at more than one position.

Another Alabama product Cornelius Bennett also comes to mind when mulling this subject of great all-around linebackers.
