But, I also thought my accountant had told me that in 2012 that the employer side of this was going to reduced 2% also......By doing a little googling, I'm led to believe that this is not true? My accountant has slipped into a well deserved retirement, so I can't bother her on this. So, in other words, my simple spreadsheet for my secretary's wages stays the same - employee rate is the same and so is employer?

You are correct, there is no change in the employer FICA rate for 2012. In other words, no rate reduction.
