Captain Hindsight Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 Ive never seen sparano as a loudmouth...
BuffaloBillsForever Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 That's a horrible and unispiring hire. I thought they wanted to get rid of conservative offensive playing? Jets fans can't be to happy about this. They will run him out of town like they did Shotty.
jjmac Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 (edited) I think he'll do well, better than Schottenheimer. Edited January 11, 2012 by jjmac
DreReed83 Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 I think he'll do well, better than Schottenheimer. Yes because his only body of work in the NFL is his own ability to lose weight.
jjmac Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 Yes because his only body of work in the NFL is his own ability to lose weight. Can he do any worse?
The AntiFin Posted January 11, 2012 Author Posted January 11, 2012 Ive never seen sparano as a loudmouth... Next to Ryan -- and this past year -- No. But when the Dolphins were semi-decent, he was extremely pompous, especially during his interviews on WQAM. (I live in South Florida, and listen to that trash station every now and again for laughs).

Fla and listen to 560wqam , 790 the ticket and actually find him to be quite humble yet firm. His players loved him and played hard for the guy. I don't know how he will be as OC but I guarantee he will get the best out of O-line talent.
Armchair GM Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 Add another loudmouth to that team! Laughable!! What gimmick does he bring with him to the Prop Jets?
The AntiFin Posted January 11, 2012 Author Posted January 11, 2012 Disagree. I too live in S. Fla and listen to 560wqam , 790 the ticket and actually find him to be quite humble yet firm. His players loved him and played hard for the guy. I don't know how he will be as OC but I guarantee he will get the best out of O-line talent. He was humble this year because he was 0-7. Not so much in the past. We must not have listened to the same interviews. He's a whiner on the field, yelling at officials and crying when he doesn't get his way. I maintain my opinion. And it'll come out for all to see now that he's officially A$$ociated with one of the biggest a$$es in the game.
DDD Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 No argument on Rex. Big and obnoxious. Perfect coach for NYC and the Jets.
C.Biscuit97 Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 (edited) Sparano is an awesome fist pumper. He wasn't a terrible head coach but I'd be very uninspired if I was a Jets fan. This guy is a career OL coach. The Jets are going to try to win games by boring people. Edited January 11, 2012 by C.Biscuit97

nbash Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 Career O-line coach = more running game = Jets are over Sanchez, as if we didn't already know that
