bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Really wished we would have a had chance to get this guy as our head coach. What a great turn around he has done.
Sisyphean Bills Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Gregggg Williams has a bigger rolodex though.
Marv's Neighbor Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Gregggg Williams has a bigger rolodex though. Oh yeah, HE INTERVIEWED WELL!
Buffalo Barbarian Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Really wished we would have a had chance to get this guy as our head coach. What a great turn around he has done. He was my choice over Gregg Williams and has proven to be a winning Coach as long as he has decent QB. If Delhome didn't fall off the face of the earth he'd still be in Carolina pounding the rock and stinging Defense. Oh yeah, HE INTERVIEWED WELL! Double UGH!
It's in My Blood Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 I was watching the tiny-tod-of-the-killawod, Art Wander on Empire(lol) and nearly threw up when it was announced we chose Greggo over Fox.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 I was watching the tiny-tod-of-the-killawod, Art Wander on Empire(lol) and nearly threw up when it was announced we chose Greggo over Fox. Ahh Empire, those were the days Not a big fan of Art but do remember why he wanted Fox or Gregg?
peytonmanning18 Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 The Broncos are winning in spite of Fox, not because of him. He is holding Tebow back.
John from Riverside Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 It will be interesting to see if Wanstaddt can make the bills do a "bronco's" turnaround on defense......keep in mind that the broncos defense was HORRIBLE last year.....so much so that they picked ahead of us in the draft..... Just give Dave W. free reign to do his thing and some groceries to work with.....and see if he can create a defense that actually keeps us in games the way Denver did with their offense this year.
Dragonborn10 Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Dumervil didn't play last year and they added a star OLB in Von Miller. I think that has more to do with their turnaround than Fox does.

Exactly. The team with the 2nd overall pick ended up beating the defending afc champs Cliche alert**** Any given Sunday
It's in My Blood Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Ahh Empire, those were the days Not a big fan of Art but do remember why he wanted Fox or Gregg? Those were the two hot assistants at the time but don't specifically remember why Art wanted either. I think the outcome would've been similar, had we hired Fox. Donahue had carte blanc over the roster. Although, alot of his moves were correct, in terms of signings, but for whatever reason Greggo was in over his head up here.
reddogblitz Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Fox was on the hot seat in 2009. I was hoping that if he got fired we'd hire him. But he lasted one more year in Carolina. RATS
PromoTheRobot Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Can someone tell me what happened that made John Fox such a coaching darling again? PTR
Ramius Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Can someone tell me what happened that made John Fox such a coaching darling again? PTR Pittsburgh's DBs forgot how to cover WRs.
PromoTheRobot Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Pittsburgh's DBs forgot how to cover WRs. Or Dick LeBeau bet wrong. PTR
CodeMonkey Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 (edited) Can someone tell me what happened that made John Fox such a coaching darling again? PTR 1) He made it to the playoffs. 2) He won. Edited January 9, 2012 by CodeMonkey
PromoTheRobot Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 1) He made it to the playoffs. 2) He won. Okay. I thought it was he backed into the playoffs losing his last 3 including getting crushed by the Bills awesome D. PTR
Hapless Bills Fan Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Pittsburgh's DBs forgot how to cover WRs. Pittsburgh bet the ranch that Tebow couldn't beat them with his arm. They brought little pressure and worked to keep contain. The contain part worked - mostly. The arm only completed 10 passes - but what passes. It's hard to win games in the NFL when you let 10 passes go for 316 yds.
