I see my man London Fletcher was named to the Pro Bowl today.

This will be his 3rd consecutive year in Honolulu.

Not only is he a fast-moving fire hydrant who plays the game going FORWARD, he's also one of the finest people in the NFL.

From your list, just Peters and Leonhard. Leonhard would of stayed for cheap and was better than anything we had at the time.

I really was pissed when they let Pat Williams walk.

Between Williams, Leonhard, and Peters we lost three diamonds in the rough. No draft picks wasted, we developed them, and then we let them walk--Pointless waste of time.

Yeah. Set all the bills stuff aside a second. Big congrats to the indestructible London. The guy hasbeen leaving it all out there on the field for well over a decade...

Hey, I chose Greer...Holy crap, I was in the majority for once.

To be honest I really don't miss the other guys on that list at all, so it was an easy choice for me.

PAT WILLIAMS, now and forever, even though peanuts isn't accurate. The worst move... ever.

Excellent point

I want to say NONE of the above. My vote goes to London Fletcher. Of the selection posted - Jason Peters.

Fletcher is ok, but he is forever overrated. The guy is a tackling machine, no doubt. Just watch him play though, most of his tackles are well down field...POZ like. There are always guys like Fletch that put up amazing numbers, mainly because they are not very aggressive. When you sit back and wait, you will get a ton of tackles.

One of the reasons why the Bills let him go, not a game changer.

Bull spit.

I watch tons of football and the guy is a rock. I saw one goal line stand this year where he made three consecutive run tackles filling fast and hard, like he always does.

As for letting him go, had we kept him we wouldn't have had to burn extra draft picks to move up to draft Poz… who can't carry London's jock.

Everyone is welcome to their own thoughts...Mine is that the guy has his weaknesses, a far cry from Patrick Willis types. Poz is slower version of Fletcher...Solid tacklers, who rarely venture to or beyond the line of scrimmage...My opinion of course.

No he's not Patrick Willis but who is?

The former undrafted D2 standout is a 3-time Pro Bowler and has been named as a Pro Bowl alternate 11 times, mostly playing on bad teams. He was 2nd Team All Pro last year. He's been a defensive captain on all three NFL teams he's played on.

Except for one year with the Bills where he played with Sam Adams and Pat Williams, he never had good tackles playing in front of him.

He only played 3 seasons with the Rams but was named to their 10th Anniversary Team and was their rookie of the year.

At 5'10 and 245 pounds he brings the force and thickness of a much bigger man. He has 34 sacks, 18 forced fumbles, 18 fumble recoveries, 18 interceptions and in 14 seasons has only missed one game to injury.

IMO London's been underrated because he's had the misfortune (like former teammate Takeo Spikes) of always playing on bad teams… and because he doesn't fit the prototype for the position.

I would take Willis over him… Jon Beason is outstanding and so is Curtis Lofton. At this point I'd take London over Urlacher and he's better than Navorro Bowman who I watch on a weekly basis.

JMO.

And then to let him walk and burn two high picks to trade up for Poz…

I will say this, I think he has been much better in Washington's 3-4 defense than he was in the Bills 4-3. Obviously there are different responsibilities, coaches, ect...I am also by no means saying he is a bad football player. They guy is skilled, and a tackling machine as I mentioned. He puts up great numbers, I just think he had some weaknesses, at least in the 4-3.

When he played for the Bills he was in on just about every tackle, the problem for me was that those tackles were always well down field, consistently. He rarely met the RB at the line, he always waited for him to make a move, then he reacted. He's cautious, and never over commits. That's how he makes so many tackles, but often it can be at the expense of yards. I was frequently frustrated watching him play as a Bill, that's where my opinion comes from.

I certainly don't argue that he is much better than Poz. Poz played a similar style, with half the speed IMO...

Weird. When I see him play he's usually coming forward fast and hard… but like I said before, he has no one in front of him.

When Ray Lewis lost Siragusa and Sam Adams, people thought he was on the downslope of his career… until they got Kelly Gregg and Haloti Ngata.

I think that's a huge factor for an ILB.

Well like I said, I do think the 3-4 is good for him. LB's are more aggressive by nature in that scheme, which I think takes better advantage of his skill set. Certainly he has looked better in Washington than he did in Buffalo, IMO any way. I definitely won't argue that the talent level on the Bills at the time could have an affect on the MLB, I don't question that at all.
