Catmanjax Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Got a work buddy who moved to Jacksonville last year. Life long Lions fan(season ticket ,still goes to most games). Boy is he into the season/play offs. Reminds me of what we are missing from the olden days when we were relevant. Can you even remember what that was like? I wonder if we will ever experience it again.
Fan in San Diego Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Everything has a cycle. We will be on top again sometime. Maybe 20 years from now. But it will happen.
Best Player Available Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Everything has a cycle. We will be on top again sometime. Maybe 20 years from now. But it will happen. Ha, I remember someone saying that around 20 years ago. The Lions fans got to be pumped, if any team was more dysfunctional than the Bills, it was them. By quite a margin to.
Captain Hindsight Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 The first 7 games was the most fun I've had in a long time
Bills!Win! Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 The first 7 games was the most fun I've had in a long time As a 20 year old and seeing a decade+ of futility and losing, those first few weeks were the closest thing I've felt to a playoff game or a playoff win. That's almost depressing
PromoTheRobot Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 I bet he was pumped when they went 0-16. PTR
Mark Vader Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Ha, I remember someone saying that around 20 years ago. The Lions fans got to be pumped, if any team was more dysfunctional than the Bills, it was them. By quite a margin to. Why shouldn't they be pumped? The Lions could understandably lose to the Saints, but the Lions are for real. This is a team that we'll be seeing in the playoffs more often than not in the upcoming years.
Chandler#81 Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 I think they'll surprise this weekend. The Lions are solid. Remember how a heavily favored Saints team did last year in Seattle?
Green Lightning Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 (edited) I bet he was pumped when they went 0-16. PTR Why would you begrudge a long suffering Lions fan of his joy in making the playoffs? Relax homer...it's not an attack on the Bills because another historically bad team makes the playoffs. It should give us hope. Edited January 7, 2012 by Green Lightning
Nuncha Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 One and done for the Lions - he won't be pumped long. Total lack of dicipline on that team - including the coach.
Since 1972 Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 I bet he was pumped when they went 0-16. PTR WOW! Didn't think you had a dark side.
Mr. WEO Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 I bet he was pumped when they went 0-16. PTR I bet he's pumped that his organization was able to got from 0-16 to 10-6 and (beat the Bills to) the playoffs in just 3 years. I wonder what that feels like....
bills44 Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 I bet he's pumped that his organization was able to got from 0-16 to 10-6 and (beat the Bills to) the playoffs in just 3 years. I wonder what that feels like.... I wonder if he's still pumped up now....
BuffaloBillsSD Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 (edited) I wonder if he's still pumped up now.... I wonder if Bills fans are still pumped about being the league leader in NOT appearing in the playoffs. Keep sipping that haterade loser. Edited January 8, 2012 by BuffaloBillsSD
Captain Hindsight Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 I was rooting for the lions tonight. Drew Brees is just playing too well right now. I hope we can join them in the playoffs next year
bills44 Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 I wonder if Bills fans are still pumped about being the league leader in NOT appearing in the playoffs. Keep sipping that haterade loser. So witty! I can only imagine how much more moronic your post was pre-edit.
BuffaloBillsSD Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 So witty! I can only imagine how much more moronic your post was pre-edit. No problem! I bet you think the Bills are going all the way and other team gets all the calls.
Mr_Blizzard Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Everything has a cycle. We will be on top again sometime. Maybe 20 years from now. But it will happen. I hope it doesn't go that long - I'd like to see the Bills at a playoff game again before I'm too old to drive myself to the games! It's been 15 years since the Bills hosted a playoff game! (and 16 years since they WON a playoff game!)
Catmanjax Posted January 8, 2012 Author Posted January 8, 2012 Well his team is out. Watched game with him, he was intense, then thrilled then resigned. At least he experienced it and is optimistic about the future. They have good O weapons
