Don Beebe was hurt. wallace francis Played 9 seasons, 2 with Bills, 7 with falcons. He had 2 kickoff returns for TDs as a rookie. The Bills never game him a chance and let him go after 2 years. He went to Atlanta and played well. In 1979 he caught 74 passes for 1014 yards and 8 TDs -- huge numbers for the time. Ah, memories, of Gary Plummer hitting Holmes on the 1 yard line, and Woodall running it back 96 yards. Niner fans took pity on me. But it was the only time I got to see Bruce Smith in person.
