Chris in Syracuse Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Recovery time expected to be only 3 weeks. Bell had the same surgery and is also expected to be well in 3 weeks.
nucci Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Recovery time expected to be only 3 weeks. Thanks, now Wood is the major concern.
Bob in STL Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Good. Urbik did a nice job for us this year at RG and at C.
Best Player Available Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Urbiks a keeper. A solid starter.
I_want_2_BILL_Lieve Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Bell had the same surgery and is also expected to be well in 3 weeks. Unless it was the regular season then it would be 3 MONTHS... Ow, I hurt my wrist typing this.
C.Biscuit97 Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Good. Urbik did a nice job for us this year at RG and at C. Agreed. Everyone wants to find ways to discount the job the oline did this year, but it's wrong IMO. They played very well and are borderline great run blockers. Obviously scheme and Fitz played a part, but these guys deserve a lot of credit. It is also a pretty young group that dealt with a ton of injuries. I'm looking forward to them counting to grow together,

It is also a pretty young group that dealt with a ton of injuries. I'm looking forward to them counting to grow together, I liked how Colin Brown played yesterday against Wilfork. He held his own very well for being his first NFL start, I believe he only had a bad shotgun snap. I like Rinehart better than Urbik though, I think he's a more nasty blocker, though both were very effective this year. Re-sign Bell, bring another OT if they don't like Young and this OL will get better with more continuity.
billsrock61 Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 if we can keep them together and healthy our line will be as good as it was in the superbowl years. fitz and wood hate all you want but fitz is playing as good as Kelly. Sure he had quite a few picks this year, but when you're playing with 6 string WR's... Kelly could actually throw the deep ball and didn't have use all his might to do it either.
