billnutinphoenix Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 Would anyone want him on the Bills staff?
RunTheBall Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 Well, he would be an upgrade from our current defensive coordinator ; ) RTB
nucci Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 Would anyone want him on the Bills staff? Nope. While our offense struggled without Jackson our D is the biggest problem. Schottenheimer called for over 60 passes last week against Giants and Jets offense has gone backwards the last couple of years. Sanchez is a big part of the problem but so is coaching.
Kevin Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 No. Not really. Kind of odd how most of us wanted him to be the HC for Buffalo over Chan. Didn't he turn down an interview? Now, I wouldn't want him coaching this team. He's got better receivers now, a more established O Line, an arguably better quarterback, and he still can't get production out of them.
HurlyBurly51 Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 Good, that little punk deserves gets what he has coming to him!

BuffaloBillsForever Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 (edited) If they don't make the playoffs (which there is a good possibility), he is the most likely fall guy. Edited January 1, 2012 by BuffaloBillsForever

Yes, I think he turned down an interview...
San Jose Bills Fan Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 There were a lot of people here who suggested or agreed with the concept of a Marty/Brian Schottenheimer regime before Nix hired Gailey… the idea that Marty would stabilize the organization and then Brian would take the reins.
Tim Anderson's Lunch Pail Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 This is exactly why it is comical that anyone would turn down an interview for a head coaching job in the NFL. No matter how disfunctional a franchise is, there are only 32 jobs like it. Strike while the iron is hot.
jjmac Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 No way we need him on our staff, unless, of course, we want to do Philly did and make him a DC.
Arkady Renko Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 At the time, Tim Graham reported that Marty wanted the job badly. If that was the case, then it is understandable that Brian Schottenheimer turned the Bills interview down.
C.Biscuit97 Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 The funniest thing is all Jets fans do is blame him for why Sanchez sucks. I can't be that Sanchez just isn't a good QB could it? And I wonder where his career would be without daddy? No thanks and I'm so glad he didn't become our coach,.

Saint Doug Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 No. He just turned us down a couple of years ago. Why would we want someone who doesn't want to be here?
