Beerball Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 link Also looked at WR David Clowney & Quentin Moses. Think Harris was a 1 game stop gap or is he a possible FA/futures contract signing?
4BillsintheBurgh Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 My link Also looked at WR David Clowney & Quentin Moses. Think Harris was a 1 game stop gap or is he a possible FA/futures contract signing? I'd say fishing for some possible depth for next year.
Gray Beard Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 An offensive lineman with back issues. Who am I to ask what they are thinking?
RTW2012 Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 An offensive lineman with back issues. Who am I to ask what they are thinking? Exactly.
PromoTheRobot Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 An offensive lineman with back issues. Who am I to ask what they are thinking? Does it hurt to take a look? PTR
jcbillsfan Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 I really like the way Buddy and his gang are looking to constantly find talent
JStranger76 Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 I agree jc but how many RT candidates do they need? lol
808 Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 i actually wanted the bills to bring him in after the lockout but like may who flocked to the dream team we missed on him. if hes healthy hed be good depth
NoSaint Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 i actually wanted the bills to bring him in after the lockout but like may who flocked to the dream team we missed on him. if hes healthy hed be good depth Even if he can't bang heads for 16 games, it could be good depth for a few games here and there
apuszczalowski Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 An offensive lineman with back issues. Who am I to ask what they are thinking? Why not, the majority of the board wanted them to take a look a Jared gaither when he was available both time this season Not a big name o-linemen with back issues, "What are they thinking even looking?" Big name o-linemen with cronic back issues, "What are they thinking not bringing him in for a look?"
CBD Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Does it hurt to take a look? PTR Especially since there were multiple threads regarding Harris and how the Bills should sign him this past offseason.
CardinalScotts Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 I really like the way Buddy and his gang are looking to constantly find talent unlike the other teams that are unearthing talent all the time- especially in late December
Gray Beard Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Does it hurt to take a look? PTR No, of course it doesn't hurt to take a look. I was being facetious. I am upbeat that they are also looking at a LB and a WR. They are looking for talent in areas where many people feel there are needs.
RealityCheck Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 I really like the way Buddy and his gang are looking to constantly find talent I think that Buddy is on to something by getting players that are either injury stricken players that could be great when healthy or just bad. With the advent of cloning body parts, new techniques in surgery and GH, they might be planning on Frankensteining some players together who were signed cheap that they don't have to resign.
PromoTheRobot Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Pears, Urbick, Reinhardt and Chandler were all late season pick ups, were they not? PTR
stinky finger Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 I really like the way Buddy and his gang are looking to constantly find talent Lets be honest, this organization hasn't exactly set the (lum)bar to high.
Best Player Available Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Nix is getting an early start on 2012 camp fodder, since they can open camp with a larger amount of bodies. Why no LT candidates?
Bob in STL Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Pears, Urbick, Reinhardt and Chandler were all late season pick ups, were they not? PTR No, not all. Urbick was picked up early last year and was in camp. Reinhart and Pears were added later in the year when stalwarts such as Manfield Wrotto, Cornell Green and Codero Howard were injured.
Dr. Trooth Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Ryan Harris? Sign him up. Another trophy to go along with Merriman. Now, I'm tellin ya... Buddy is on to something this Quenton Moses kid is special. With 35 carreer tackles and 3 1/2 sacks, we need someone to disparage since Aaron Maybin got cut.
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Can't complain about them trying to find a player in the rubble out there. Nothing to lose.....
