Mr_Blizzard Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 One of the great players from our former chief rival is retiring. Jason Taylor is calling it a career after 15 seasons in the league. Does anyone remember the DE we took just a few picks before JT was selected by the Dolphins? Hint: he left for San Diego with John Butler. Jason Taylor Retires

I always liked him.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Well we can draft Cordarro Law in the third this year and have our pass rushing threat.
Mr_Blizzard Posted December 31, 2011 Author Posted December 31, 2011 Marcellus Wiley. Now I'm depressed. I always liked him. Yup, Marcellus was a good player for the Bills, and we only had him for 4 seasons. It would be great if ONE of these days, a Bills 3rd round draft pick ended up being a regular pro-bowler.
BADOLBILZ Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 One of the great players from our former chief rival is retiring. Jason Taylor is calling it a career after 15 seasons in the league. Does anyone remember the DE we took just a few picks before JT was selected by the Dolphins? Hint: he left for San Diego with John Butler. Jason Taylor Retires Taylor would have been a perfect fit for the Bills 3-4 as an OLB. He had a great postseason of bowl games and workouts and was considered a possible first rounder (but what does Mel Kiper know, right?). But in the 90's not nearly as many teams ran 3-4's and guys like Taylor were considered tweeners and would often slip on draft day. They were ripe for the picking every year but the Bills did not do as well at acquiring them as their chief competition for 3-4 talent, the Steelers, did.
Niagara Bill Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 he retired 3 years ago, he just failed to mention it as long as people were prepared to pay him.
