I always have ham or some kind of pork on New Years Day. And on both New Years Eve and New Years Day, I avoid any kind of chicken product.

Goes back to when I was a kid. My Mom always had some wives tale/superstition that when a chicken walks it scratches back and a pig snouts forward. Since it's a new year we want to go forward not back.

Yeah, I also don't eat meat on Ash Wednesday or Good Friday and I'm not even religious. Just kind of tradition.

Thanks for brining up New Years Day. We're thinking of heading to Chinatown for dim sum.

We are having Ham. This stuff is a little too pricey for the rest of you chumps.

Did you get it at the same place the chef got his?

I don't shop at Walmart because those pesky greeters always waste my time asking to see my receipt.

Fools! Don't you know that Applebees has the best scraps in their dumpster?

The $1.67 a lb with water product added at Safeway is the best

Is that in the produce section

Well if you search the dumpster careful enough you might be able to make Faggot for New Years dinner.

:censored: I'm jealous. I've not had good dim sum since I was last in Toronto with my brother two years ago. Btw Vancouver may offer the best dim sum on the planet.
