Chef Jim Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 What's the best piece of advice you've ever received? Oh man that's easy. From my father many...many years ago. Never take advice from strangers. And man you guys are !@#$ing strange.
BLZFAN4LIFE Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 Oh man that's easy. From my father many...many years ago. Never take advice from strangers. And man you guys are !@#$ing strange. If you are going back to WNY in February I recommend the 30th & 31st. No better time to visit than that.

mead107 Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 Bring your fly rod so you can catch some fish when you go ice fishing.
Chef Jim Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 I talked to my dad a couple of weeks ago. He's 83 and skis every day. I asked what we're going to do if there's no snow. He said sit around and drink. Like father like son.
Chef Jim Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 Do enjoy the time you spend with him. Always do. We're like brothers. Used to work side by side in the kitchen when I was a teenager. Hell he's more like a brother than my actual brother.
Just Jack Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 Do enjoy the time you spend with him. That sounds like advice to me.
Chef Jim Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 That sounds like advice to me. Yeah and I really needed someone to give me advice to enjoy the time I spend with my father.
mead107 Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 You better bring him a very good bottle of something.

Chef Jim Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 Have a few drinks on me. Thanks for the advice but I don't need any advice. Especially when it comes to drinking. This topic is being discussed in another thread. In the future please us the board search feature. [/This is an automated response]

mead107 Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 Maybe we could get a lot of your friends to see you off when your trip ends.
