DerekJ Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 1. Salvaging more Bills pride. 2. Screwing up the Pats' home field throughout the playoffs. 3. Sweeping the Pats for the first time in who knows how long. Yeah, the Bills still have something to play for.
billsevans Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 I would hope a lose to keep in good draft contention, but the win today I say beat the Pats...break out the brooms in Foxboro!!

Yeah, the Bills still have something to play for. the only thing at stake is dropping more in the draft which means even lesser chance the moron Nix can actually get the pick right.
PromoTheRobot Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 I bought 2 tix when we were 5-2. They better show up next week. PTR

reddogblitz Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 Sweeping the Patsies and knocking them out of first seed would be fun. And, doing it in their won house. Even better. I think we can do it. Go BILLS !!
Dragonborn10 Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 The fact it is an AFC East game is why the will try to win. If this game was against the Arizona Cardinals do you think Gailey and Nix risk Dareus or Spiller getting injured? The NFL changed the schedule to all divisional games with the hopes that games were important like the Giants/Dallas game or at a minimum there was a little bit of a rivalry and teams wouldn't completely lay down. Bills need to show they can compete with the Patriots on their field for their own psyche. The Pats defense is garbage. Stevie should want to show off for FA and NIx and company probably want CJ to look great to drive down Freddie's price. In short I can't see them not trying to compete. And in the long run a sweep of the Patriots does a lot more for this team than 4 or 5 draft spots.
You herd it hear last Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 I think Dick Jauron has "7-9" trademarked, so 6-10 it'll have to be...but if our young defenders show up as they did today, look out 2012!
