I think he is one of the best ever. I'm not kidding. He anticipates many plays and understands how the games unfold. He is a bit of a cocky jerk, and I hated him as a player (always whining at other players on his team), so it was a big surprise to me that I really like him as an announcer.

I did have to laugh at one point when he was praising how awesome the coverage was on one play, as the replay showed a guy running wide open -- no one within 20 yards of him -- the QB just misread it. That's football.

Not a fan - he called the Bills D the "Broncos D" twice that I recall, completely absolved Fitz on a poor throw that he short hopped to Stevie (....praised the "tight coverage" when Stevie ran a great route, the window was there to complete the pass), and is only slightly less of a milque-toast than Nantz - will never question or challenge a bad call by a ref, for example.

Simms is average but not annoying while Nantz bugs the **** out of me. Nantz is so god dam full of himself. I can't stand him. He is ten times worse when he is announcing golf especially the Masters.
