Buff_bills4ever
LINK I get that the guy who did it is a real POS, but it seems to me like they only gave him bragging rights in the pen.
SageAgainstTheMachine
For a very short AP article, there are multiple confusing items... 1. Since when do juries get to hand out symbolic money? 2. How do you die 12 years after being set on fire? 3. A guy set an 8 year old child on fire, but he's in prison for an unrelated charge? How is that not life in prison or at least 25 years?

He was never charged and denies involvement in the 2010 death of 20-year-old Robbie Middleton.

KD in CA
What's the big deal? Juries hand out symbolic money all the time. What % of people who are sued for millions of dollars ever pay up? How much of that $33MM has OJ paid to Ron Goldman? I'll save my outrage for the $10MM lawsuit that comes out of the taxpayers' pocket because some idiot tripped over a crack in the sidewalk. How about $7 million for almost drowning in a crowded pool? http://www.buffalonews.com/city/police-courts/courts/article680832.ece
