duey Posted December 27, 2004 Posted December 27, 2004 God Bless Reggie...you were a great player and a great person.
seq004 Posted December 27, 2004 Posted December 27, 2004 Real, Real sad. I still can't believe it. Thoughts and prayers are for his family.
buckeyemike Posted December 27, 2004 Posted December 27, 2004 How much good did Reggie do? He helped people in Philadelphia, Milwaukee, Green Bay, and Charlotte. Wherever he played. Reggie was a minister and he lived up to his calling. He's in heaven now. A much better place than here. RIP Reggie. Mike
Greg de'Ville Posted December 27, 2004 Posted December 27, 2004 ...I was shocked and saddened, watching the Steeler game today, of the sudden passing of The Minister of Defense. The league was blessed in that two of the game's greatest DEs strutted their stuff with distinction for many years in virtually the same time frame: Bruce Smith and Reggie White. The irony was that neither the Iggles nor the Pack played today. It would been very tough for coaches and players of either team to keep focus had they taken the field. The tributes I've watched from players and coaches from both organizations have been quite moving. A great player and a greater person. His was one of the most recognizable voices in the game--when you heard his rasp, you knew immediately who was speaking. God bless Reggie White and his family.
