Thailog80 Posted December 26, 2004 Posted December 26, 2004 Get ready to see Drew on TV a lot the next few days. I'll bet you that every highlight reel of Reggie White will have him sacking Bledsoe during SB XXXI.
njsue Posted December 26, 2004 Posted December 26, 2004 You have to treasure the gift you have received from God. That is the life of yourselves, family & good friends. God Bless You Reggie White you where such a great force in the NFL. Rest In Peace.

SilverNRed Posted December 26, 2004 Posted December 26, 2004 Why do so many people pass away on or around Christmas? RIP big guy! 178113 Christmas Day is the day when most Americans die each year. The reason I heard is that people are less likely to go to the hospital if they feel something wrong (chest pains, etc.) but I imagine drinking and driving would have something to do with it as well. RIP, Reggie.
njsue Posted December 26, 2004 Posted December 26, 2004 December 27, 1996 my father died due to malpractice. Do I know what it feels like. My prayers are with all those who have suffered great losses around this time of year. To those who have friends & family members who are sick. God Bless.
Golden Wheels Posted December 26, 2004 Author Posted December 26, 2004 Link: ESPN.com report Fox Sports is saying it was respiratory failure due to sleep apnea?
Greybeard Posted December 26, 2004 Posted December 26, 2004 Forgot to say, he was killed by a drunk driver. Mark was coming home from work. 178151 Sorry to hear this Frez, was he the guy rear ended on 81.
DC Tom Posted December 26, 2004 Posted December 26, 2004 I have lost a few friends this holiday, that's why I ask. 178131 And odds are every once in a while it'll be someone you know...my wife's best friend died suddenly a year ago this past Dec. 17th. There's no rhyme or reason to it...sh-- just happens. Regardless...you have my sympathies. As does the White family, and the several thousand families along the Bay of Bengal coast...
SACKMARINO Posted December 26, 2004 Posted December 26, 2004 ESPN said he was 43. Anyways, very sad day for the NFL - great guy...
MikeInRoch Posted December 26, 2004 Posted December 26, 2004 If someone I loved was killed by a drunk driver, jail would be the safest place for them.
Frez Posted December 26, 2004 Posted December 26, 2004 Sorry to hear this Frez, was he the guy rear ended on 81. 178192 No, it happend at the intersection of 401 and route 3 in the town of Scriba.
IDBillzFan Posted December 26, 2004 Posted December 26, 2004 RIP Reggie. You were one of the good ones.
Guest RabidBillsFanVT Posted December 26, 2004 Posted December 26, 2004 I felt the same way today when Derrick Thomas died... It's a shocking, terrifying thought. At least he is with the Lord now, just like he wanted. He's at peace.
Like A Mofo Posted December 26, 2004 Posted December 26, 2004 There are always some things you see on TV that suprise you, and then there are some things that REALLY suprise you. This is a sad day for the NFL. Reggie White was class and greatness both on and off the football field.
BillsSouth Posted December 26, 2004 Posted December 26, 2004 Reggie was a great player and a great person. He will be missed.
