The Poojer Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 i only saw highlights and he slid to the ground once he was fully in the endzone, seemingly trying to take advantage of the sliding conditions of wet turf....would this be a celebration going to the ground?
Best Player Available Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 (edited) Excessive celebration. Check out his chest thumping in front of a cameraman. Edited December 18, 2011 by Best Player Available
The Poojer Posted December 18, 2011 Author Posted December 18, 2011 so you are saying he was flagged? good, if thats the case... Excessive celebration.
nucci Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 I think they flagged Marshall for sliding right after Bush.
CodeMonkey Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 I think they flagged Marshall for sliding right after Bush. No, they called it on Bush for excessive celebration.
SageAgainstTheMachine Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 Honestly, that was just a cool TD celebration. Where's the logic in that stupid "going to the ground" rule?
nucci Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 No, they called it on Bush for excessive celebration. OK, it looked to me the flag wasn't thrown until Marshall slid.
CodeMonkey Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 OK, it looked to me the flag wasn't thrown until Marshall slid. I thought so too, but I could hear the official over the PA in the background audio on the TV.
