clayboy54 Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 That's too bad as I had hopes for the guy since his training camp performances. I really thought they made a mistake letting him go early on. Unfortunately, once thay gave him the 2nd chance and he still didn't make it, we can be pretty sure he's not any good.
Coach Tuesday Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 They picked up Jarron Gilbert, the dude who can jump out of a pool standing up. DT.

I really thought they made a mistake letting him go early on. Unfortunately, once thay gave him the 2nd chance and he still didn't make it, we can be pretty sure he's not any good. Really? They picked up Jarron Gilbert, the dude who can jump out of a pool standing up. DT. That will come in handy if the opposition ever ties to block him with a swimming pool.
Astrobot Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 Jarron Gilbert can jump out of the pool when Jasper jumps in. Gilbert's 4.82 40-time was the best among defensive linemen at the 2009 Scouting Combine, and his TFL's were tied with Travis LaBoy in his conference. The knock on him was that he'd played so many DL positions that he was a jack of all trades, master of none.
Kevin Posted December 17, 2011 Author Posted December 17, 2011 Hopefully he works out for the Bills. Kind of bummed about Coleman, I liked him in the preseason. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/139529-tmq-opinion/page__view__findpost__p__2330167 Uh, wrong, I guess. That is a funny article. Pierre-Paul is the best player out of all of them, but Maybin is catching up.

He was one of the few exciting players to come out of San Jose State in some time.
PromoTheRobot Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 (edited) Another wasted UDFA/practice squad pickup. PTR Edited December 17, 2011 by PromoTheRobot
BillsVet Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 Another wasted UDFA/practice squad pickup. PTR Don't forget street free agents. That's Buffalo's other source for building the roster.
You herd it hear last Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 They picked up Jarron Gilbert, the dude who can jump out of a pool standing up. DT. the deep end?

Astrojanitor Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 great, and we signed another nerd off of the jets practice squad. Paying money for dudes who can't even make other teams. Way to do it, front office
Bob in STL Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 Antonio Colemangets a thread. Yes, tthings are really bad for this team.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 They picked up Jarron Gilbert, the dude who can jump out of a pool standing up. DT. can he play NT or DE for us
....lybob Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 If you get a free lotto ticket you can't complain because there is a low probability of returns- Jarron Gilbert certainly has some of the physical attributes of a 3-4 DE and if you are looking at salary cap savings My link you'll see that Spenser Johnson is 3.5 mil and Edwards is almost 4mil.
HuSeYiN1978 Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 That's too bad as I had hopes for the guy since his training camp performances. I really thought they made a mistake letting him go early on. Unfortunately, once thay gave him the 2nd chance and he still didn't make it, we can be pretty sure he's not any good. Just like Maybin wasn't good, or Jim Leanord and Jabari Greer and Takeo Spikes and London Fletcher and Jon Corto at special teams and Anthony Hargrove and Nate Clements and Antoine Winfield and Pat Williams... We have talent on this team that seems to shine on other teams for a reason and in some cases we KNOW we have the talent but don't pay them what they deserve yet we're here looking for a guy to replace Nate Clements years after he's gone and basically drafted another Pat Williams in Kyle Williams and are still looking for endless linebackers and still don't have a solid O-line... We definitely can draft and find talent we just don't know how to utilize their talents or how to keep them financially satisfied...
Sisyphean Bills Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 can he play NT or DE for us Or try to play him at OLB.
MaineMoxie Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 Seeing as how we're picking up people who can jump out of pools, how about ?
