Yes, you can. You can thank the Patriot Act for that. As well as being detained, no information about your charges, whereabouts, etc, need to be revealed about you. You can essentially be pulled off the grid permanently. It's a scary thought, isn't it? That is a terrifying thought.... what are the grounds and parameters for a person to be deemed a threat? Crminal Action? Planning it? Just talking about Blowing stuff up? They don't need any, which is an even scarier thought. If you are taken into custody, the Patriot Act allows them the ability to not give any information about you. Due process of the law is thrown out the window. I am sure there will be some kind of check on this. If you are found to be an Enemy of the State, then I guess you need to forfeit your rights. 3rdnlng
http://www.infowars.com/indefinite-detention-bill-heads-to-obamas-desk/ Here are three videos of 3 Senators stating that a U.S. citizen can be indefinately held. Sorry Tom, but this source was the only place I could find these videos. They say that the original bill had a clause specifically precluding U.S. citizens but the administration asked them to take it out of the bill. And the text of the bill hasn't changed. If you actually want to know what you're talking about, you should try reading that instead of conspiracy web sites. The text of the bill was changed on Obama's bequest. It originally had a clause specifically precluding American citizens and Obama didn't want it in there. Now do you believe that legally an American citizen can be held indefinitely by the military?

I checked THE TEXT OF THE BILL. It's still there. Unless you want to argue that they're not releasing the correct text of the bill, in which case there's no discussing it with you.
