With the owners extending the new mega TV deal, is this what Ralph has been waiting for to sell. It seem there's no real effort on his part to field a winner. It seems he just throws a few scraps at us to give us some hope, fill most of the seats, and then the excitment dies. It feels that the front office has just done enough to buy some time, and not hurt the profits. You have to think the team is worth more now with this new deal in place. I was also wondering if a team in LA gives the league more value, why extend the deal now, before a LA team or two is in place, unless you had a team lined up for LA all along.

The only thing Ralph is waiting for in order to sell the team is his death. He has said so time and time again.

They do. The Chargers.

The NFL, somehow, perceives a franchise in LA will be a huge cash cow. Well, the Rams and Raiders weren't cashing in. LA has a lot of things to occupy the people there. They don't give a flip about football compared to the rest of the country.

Maybe or it could be ralph just buying some time. The last TV contract he didn't like due to profit sharing, and how it would effect small market teams, essentally hurting their value. Then he had a lockout to deal with. He could of just been making excuses to buy some time for the last 4 or 5 years. I'm sure Ralph know a about buying low and selling high.
