DC Tom Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 My link So Intelligent you deserve huge bonuses yet so clueless you take no consequences when **** goes bad. A/k/a "The Pelosi Gambit," usually phrased as "because of the failed policies of the Bush Administration." And Corzine might be right...may not have been his positions, he may not have been able to unwind them. Big deal. Bankruptcy happens (and it is, in fact, completely ridiculous that Congress should have hearings on the bankruptcy.) Missing client money, though? Corzine deserves to have his ass kicked for that. AND his predecessors.

"Uh I !@#$ed up"

"Uh I !@#$ed up" How about "You !@#$s want to talk about bankruptcy? You !@#$s are $14 trillion in debt. Let's talk about that pending bankruptcy..." Of course, that's partially his fault too... What exactly did Corzine due to drive MF Global into bankruptcy? Did he actually institute the "Buy all the European debt we can get" policy?
IDBillzFan Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Well, here it comes. The liberals will start screaming for Corzine to go to prison while the OWS folks hold up cartoons showing protesters going to prison but Corzine going free. Yep. Here it comes. Any moment now. You just watch. Annnnnnny moment now.

Annnnnnny moment now. yep Corzine, Paulson, Dimon, Blankfein, Bernanke, Geithner, Obama, Pelosi, Boehner and a host of others should be wearing prison orange in some 8th circle of hell.
GG Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 How about "You !@#$s want to talk about bankruptcy? You !@#$s are $14 trillion in debt. Let's talk about that pending bankruptcy..." Of course, that's partially his fault too... What exactly did Corzine due to drive MF Global into bankruptcy? Did he actually institute the "Buy all the European debt we can get" policy? Everything I've been reading about the case points to the answer as a yes. If the WSJ stories are true about him being personally running the foreign debt book, reporting to the board and exceeding internal risk limits, then he should be sued for every penny he owes, because he totally overstepped his boundary as a Chairman & CEO. Newsflash - if accounting changes brought by previous management team is what pushed the company into bankruptcy, as a CEO you had 18 months to ensure that you had enough capital to withstand the shocks of those accounting entries. Unless of course, it wasn't that, but wrong sovereign debt bets for which you didn't have enough collateral and you decided to raid customer accounts to make up the short fall. I wonder which one is closer to the truth?

How about Sarkozy, Merkel, Berlusconi, Papandreou? I didn't know you were so religious.
....lybob Posted December 8, 2011 Author Posted December 8, 2011 How about Sarkozy, Merkel, Berlusconi, Papandreou? I didn't know you were so religious. Covered in the host of others - Dante's Inferno is more political than religious but I have read the Bible fairly thoroughly looking for loopholes.
DC Tom Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 I have read the Bible fairly thoroughly looking for loopholes. What? Who the !@#$ does this?
LeviF Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 What? Who the !@#$ does this? Depends on what he's talking about. My hell loophole is that there's not much biblical basis for it.
DC Tom Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Depends on what he's talking about. He's talking about reading the whole Bible looking for loopholes. I can open it to a random page and find a loophole.

DC Tom Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 W.C. Fields joke And who the !@#$ does this, too?
....lybob Posted December 8, 2011 Author Posted December 8, 2011 (edited) And who the !@#$ does this, too? You don't like W.C. Fields? I thought your personality was based on the guy except of course that shred of humanity he showed every now and then. Edited December 8, 2011 by ....lybob
DC Tom Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 You don't like W.C. Fields? I thought your personality was based on the guy except of course that shred of humanity he showed every now and then. No, who the !@#$ quotes him in this day and age? What are you, 120 years old? You want to talk about humanity? I'm currently boarding a homeless person in our spare room while they get vocational training, get a job, and start earning money. What have you accomplished recently?

Is that why Coli has been absent all this time?
DC Tom Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Is that why Coli has been absent all this time? Coli's a liberal; the government can take care of him.
GG Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Coli's a liberal; the government can take care of him. So who did you win in the homeless lottery, JSP?
DC Tom Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 So who did you win in the homeless lottery, JSP? JSP's a holy roller, God can take care of him. And don't even THINK of suggesting T-Bone.
