I would stop tonight and rest. Clear after 10pm. Partly Sunny and 20 Christmas day. Let the plows get their work done and you'll have a clear drive in the morning.

We're going to my mom's for Christmas. We were hoping to get there tonight. My mom has lots of great food and MGDs waiting for us. We came from Nashville and try to avoid the bad roads in Ohio, so we went east thne north. The trip normally takes about 12 hours. Looks like this route will take us 16 hours. When we get past Pittsburg we'll have to decide. Are motels open on Christmas Eve?
Hammered a Lot Posted December 24, 2004 Posted December 24, 2004 Where is south BRO?? It stopped snowing here in the Holy land of Orchard Park around 1-2 pm. No snow since. Weather Channel radar as of 6:28 pm. The snow is on the Lake of Erie dumping straight up to the Northtowns. Drive on Dancer, Vixen, Prancer..........

I remember many a trip driving down the middle of both lanes on I-90 between Erie and Buffalo... Those bands of snow squalls can be a son of pup... Yet, short lived. Just take it easy and use your head. If you really don't feel comfortable... Rest. Take care and Godspeed!
