Dragonborn10 Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 I wouldn't mind seeing Sherman as QB coach/assistant HC. He seems like a successful career NFL assistant type like Wade Phillips. Then fire Edwards and the whole defensive staff including Wanstedt. Just start over on defense.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 Sign em !!! he should have been our HC instead DJ. He ran some real smash mouth up in Greenbay using double full back formations with Ahman Green and ran a lot of spread @ A&M with our future QB Tannehill so whatever Channy wants to run he can do it. Hopefully he would bring some balance to our O and run the ball more.

Never NEVER Give-up Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 You've got to be kidding me!! Why? Because you heard of him? Green Bay got rid of him because he's not a very good coach - that's why they went with McCarthy. Sherman? Let's go backward, why don't we?!?!?!?!?
Beerball Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 There's no reason to try to usurp Chan. He's doing quite well. But our defense and ST are not (IMO). Is this partly because Chan is so focused on the offense?

He is a good coach as he went 12-4 to 10-6 most of the time until they took his GM responsibilities, let his two probowl guards go, put up with Brett Favre mr interception and went 8-8 his last year and then was fired. At A&M he lost his running back and couldn't run and the D was as porous as ours and was left one dimensional. This guy can coach and it would let Chan do what he supposed to do and that's head coach.
C.Biscuit97 Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 Funny how many fans wanted him to be our coach. Texas A & M never improved under his watch. Unfortunately that year we needed a coach, it was a very bad market.
