todd Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 (edited) And a 4-1 record as a starter, Not Bad Or do we not count wins and losses for him because it would make him look better? Yep those wins are great, especially the last minute stuff. He certainly has some type of clutch thing going - it's like he has a "clutch" switch he turns on in the 4th quarter. Definitely fun to watch. I bet the broncos hope they always have a good defense, tho, as long as tebow is their QB. Oh, and never have to rely on the pass. I'm just trying to evaluate his performance logically and rationally. Edited December 2, 2011 by todd

He would get in for sure if it were up to only the fans. Edited December 2, 2011 by zazie
DrDawkinstein Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 (edited) Big Tebow fan here, but I couldnt bring myself to voting for him since he is right behind Fitz. Voted for Fitz a bunch of times. Maybe I'll throw a few Tim's way if they voting gets close. And for all you stat-heads that still hate on Tim... Elway vs Tebow, their first 8 games Edited December 2, 2011 by DrDareustein
KD in CA Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 With Shaub out, 4th place sounds about right to me for Tebow, although you could make a case for Dalton to be in that spot.
Garranimal Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 (edited) Here is a good read that actually uses facts to support an argument concerning Tebow. Though, something like this would never be acceptable on a serious news outlet like ESPN. Linky Edited December 2, 2011 by Garranimal
billsfreak Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 If tebow makes the pro bowl as a QB, we'll need to redefine what a "pass" is. The guy can't pass. Larry Centers made the Pro Bowl with the Bills without a carry all year as a running back if my memory serves me correctly. NFL is all about winning as it should be. Fitz! http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/12/01/tim-tebow-fourth-in-fan-voting-among-afc-quarterbacks/ There's a link for the Pro Bowl voting. I suspect he will pass Fitz in the voting before too long, if just based on his Cult-like following alone. If the Bills can turn around their losing ways of late he might not, but the way they have been playing for the past 5 or 6 weeks, Tebow probably will go ahead of him. B-o-r-i-n-g Pro Bowl? What a waste of time, good turf, footballs, jerseys, pads, helmets and tv resources. Geez. Why don't they just play a madden pro bowl. It might just be more physical. I used to watch it every year, even went to one in 1989 in Honolulu. Since they have moved it before the Super Bowl haven't watched a single snap. In a normal NFL year, at least 15-20% of the best players at their positions are on the teams in the Super Bowl (that is how they often get there to begin with), and without them playing it turns into a "Hey who wants to play in the Pro Bowl-any volunteers?". There is a really, really good chance that either Raplesberger or Brady will be in the Super Bowl, and if it is the Steelers, Brady will be hurt and won't want to play, so look for Fitz or Tebow to start in the game.
Hapless Bills Fan Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 Tebow deserves it more than Fitz. Give it a rest, dude. Take up an alternate hobby.
EldaBillsFan Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 Advice to Tebow...don't do the madden cover
Drifter Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 And a 4-1 record as a starter, Not Bad Or do we not count wins and losses for him because it would make him look better? I would credit Denver's defense before anointing Tebow. Their D keeps them in games so a frantic last minute dash can happen. The day he has to throw to come back is the day the bloom comes of the rose.
