Greensboro is nice, Concord is growing, Kannapolis and Mooresville are great areas, Lake Norman and surrounding areas are a variety-a-plenty, Raleigh and Charlotte are the big cities, the Eastern part of the state is hit or miss, although I do like NorthEast NC. Maybe buy a place in the outerbanks for the winter then go up to your mountain house in Blowing Rock for the Summer. Avoid Winston-Salem. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
