Observer Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 (edited) That's not going to help. Just got the vtext. I'll be curious to see Spiller get the load though, since this season is about toast at this point anyways. Edited November 23, 2011 by Observer
nobody Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Is he out just for this week? From Twitter: Bulldogwgr Christopher Parker Fred Jackson out, maybe for the year. Ooof.
dpberr Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Better have a heavy dose of McIntyre and Chandler/and Smith to go along with CJ. Isn't Lee Smith supposed to be good at run blocking?
apuszczalowski Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Having him in the lineup last time didn't result in a win last time, guess they will have to try something new in the offence this time and rely on Fitz and the passing game to get them going
CBD Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 JoeB_WGR Joe Buscaglia Gailey says he doesn't know if Fred Jackson will be back before the end of the season. JoeB_WGR Joe Buscaglia With Jackson out, CJ Spiller gets the start. What a chance it is for him to prove himself. #Bills 5 minutes ago
PromoTheRobot Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 JoeB_WGR Joe Buscaglia Gailey says he doesn't know if Fred Jackson will be back before the end of the season. Translation: I'm not going out there and get myself killed when I want a new deal. PTR
CountDorkula Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Trying to find positive. . . We get to see if Spiller is the real deal now.
8-8 Forever? Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 That's not going to help. Just got the vtext. I'll be curious to see Spiller get the load though, since this season is about toast at this point anyways. Yep. Its all 2012 preseason now.
Toledo Bill Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Great... one of the few tough players from a gutless team is now out...
KD in CA Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Translation: I'm not going out there and get myself killed when I want a new deal. PTR Good for him. I don't want him going out there and getting killed either while there's still a chance he'll be here for another few years. Let Spiller earn some of his paycheck that he hasn't earned yet.
dpberr Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 It will be our luck that Spiller goes Walter Payton on Sunday and the Monday morning headlines read "Running Back Controversy in Buffalo? Should Jackson Get a New Deal?"
billsfreak Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 That's not going to help. Just got the vtext. I'll be curious to see Spiller get the load though, since this season is about toast at this point anyways. Gonna be another really ugly week.
HurlyBurly51 Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Trying to find positive. . . We get to see if Spiller is the real deal now. Spoiler....he's not.

Let Spiller earn some of his paycheck that he hasn't earned yet. Does Jackson have a bonus that kicks in at 1,000 yards rushing? Could be the organization (Ralph) be keeping him out, he isn't too far from that mark.
bbb Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Fred Jackson is trending on twitter right now. I don't understand what this calf injury is? I can't imagine a calf injury being season ending unless the muscle is torn.
billsfreak Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Trying to find positive. . . We get to see if Spiller is the real deal now. I think we already found that out, and the answer is "Not Even Close."

Mike in Syracuse Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Maybe we'll see a number of two back set with CMack lead blocking for Spiller. Frankly, I don't know why we never seem to use a FB to lead block but if we can just get CJ a crease he's threat on every single play. CMack is a freaking beast and it wouldn't hurt to have him hitting Bart Scott in the mouth several times.
