B-Large Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Seriously, Denver was 1-4 and people were talking Luck, a worse record than last year... Fire Fox, Elway sucks as VP..... So, now they are 5-4.... They have basically a rookie QB with 1 decent receiver. They shipped their best receiver before they started their new QB. Tebow literally cannot pass consistently.... Their RB are a 30 year olf journeyman and 1st round bust who is made of glass.... The Defense up until the last few games was a sieve.... Yet, these guys find a way to stay close, not give up big plays, don't tur the ball over, and make a play when needed.... There is no frakin excuse why the Bills cannot compete and make a push.... None... If the guy who starts ain't cutting it, bench his ass and bring up the next hungry guy...... Gaileysvto set a fire under these clowns, playing below you potential is not an option.... If the team that is running a college offense and has a D with scrubs can compete, there is no reason the Bills can't.... 5-5, not 5-4
49er Fan Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Denver does not have a D with "scrubs"- they have significant talent at key positions: Champ Bailey, Brian Dawkins, Wes Woodyard, DJ Williams, Von Miller, Elvis Dumervil - that is a top LB corps, two pass rushers in Miller and Dumervil and veteran secondary presence in Bailey and Dawkins.

His point was that this same talent-rich defense was horrible on their way to a 1-4 record to begin the season. The difference is that their coaching staff has adapted and put the players in position to make a play.

While Dawkins is a leader, he is a big lability in pass coverage... Broderick Bunkley, Marcus Thomas, Joe Mays and Woodyard are not exactly all stars.... But these guys have decided to step up a level or two, and they are making the playmakers, doom and Von shine..... The coaches have convinced these guys.... It possible anywhere There s no excuse for the Bills right now... That team is better than Denver, but are playing well below.... chan needs to figure it out....
49er Fan Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 They weren't horrible though. One bad loss to Green Bay, a 10-0 team. Lost by 5 to SD, by 3 to OAK, by 3 to TEN and by 2 to Cincy with Orton at QB. None of those opponents scored 30 except the Packers. They have talent, Tebow isn't turning the ball over and Miller is unblockable. Easier said than done for any team to replicate.

The Denver defense is way better in the LB's and secondary, even the D line. The Denver O line is way better, don't forget the bills are fielding a cast off scrub the Bronco's cut Fitz might be the better technical pocket passer atm, But Tebow has that team believing they can beat anyone, and he and that option style of offense will prove it when they play Buffalo

Broncos Defense holds them in the games while the offense finds themselves.....we are down 21 or 28 pts after one quarter of football. Broncos have a great 7-8 man rotation along the defensive from - its not apples to apples Denver's defense is much better with better players.
