Rubes Posted August 31, 2004 Posted August 31, 2004 He's their backup (#2) running back. Are they billsfanone? Not that it matters to us, but this quote left me with the shivers: Anderson tore both muscles in the left groin area off the bone.
Fan in San Diego Posted August 31, 2004 Posted August 31, 2004 Offff ! That has got to be very painful.
Lori Posted August 31, 2004 Posted August 31, 2004 Actually, they have Garrison Hearst backing up Griffin, and also drafted a kid (Tatum Bell) who could turn out to be pretty good. Besides, it's Denver. They'll find somebody to run for 1000 yards; they always do.....
Alaska Darin Posted August 31, 2004 Posted August 31, 2004 Why aren't they sitting everyone of value or trading high picks for waiver wire scrubs? Don't they know how to build a team?

Alaska Darin Posted August 31, 2004 Posted August 31, 2004 PUT EVERYONE ON THE BENCH AND FORFEIT!!!! 12610[/snapback] You will graduate soon, jr... Have I mentioned lately how much I like Ocean's 11?
justnzane Posted August 31, 2004 Posted August 31, 2004 Hopefully, Oceans 12 will be nearly as good. Anyway back to the main topic. Groin injuries suck, and Mr. Anderson will be having a lot of shrinkage from ice that area too much. Even worse, he can't do anything other than take a leak otherwise he'll be in a world of hurt. He might have to take vicodin to get laid. :-D :-D
MartyBall4Buffalo Posted August 31, 2004 Posted August 31, 2004 Any team can get any rb to run for 1000 yards if they keep handing him the ball. However denver does not have a rb on their roster nearly as talented as Clinton Portis. Plus Denver lost long time oline coach Alex Gibbs to the falcons. If you're one of those people who judge from preseason games. The shape of the broncos oline is not that good. Plummer is pretty bad, and while griffen has speed. Once teams start gameplanning, unless their wr's and plummer step it up denver could be in pretty damn bad shape on offense. Teams aren't gonna respect griffen or the broncos wr's and more than likely will send the house at Jake plummer which could result in a loooooooooooooong season for the snake and the rest of the Denver Broncos. I wouldn't be shocked to see Denver fall off the map and finish 3rd in that division with Oakland suprising some people and finishing 2nd. It's still the chiefs division.
