BuffaloBillsForever Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 (edited) What a shame. Probably his last game he plays as a Bill. I will always remember him as a very good kick returner and always one of the best CB's on the teams he played on. Always liked him and what he did. Edited November 21, 2011 by BuffaloBillsForever
Kipers Hair Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Funny - I said the same thing to someone a couple of hours ago. Not only a shame as he was one of the last really good players we have had, but now we almost undoubtedly will have to spend another 1st round pick on a DB....Lord knows McKelvin cant play.
RyanC882 Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Why is McGee definetly done on the Bills? We could resign him?

If we do draft another DB put Mckelvin as our kick off & punt returner to finish out his contract , he's got good speed he just needs to make better decisions . Maybe that might even motivate him to be better if he's stuck on ST for a while ???
billsfan714 Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 I hope not because he's still our best corner.
Nuncha Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Have a feeling he will retire because of all the injuries....
BuffaloBillsForever Posted November 21, 2011 Author Posted November 21, 2011 He is getting up there in age, injury problems in recent years etc.
JDG Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 For a while, he was an absolutely amazing kick returned. Might he be a future Wall of Famer?
Dragonborn10 Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 For a while, he was an absolutely amazing kick returned. Might he be a future Wall of Famer? No
WildBills Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Jabari Greer was better than him. Bills were stupid not to sign him. Cheap bastards.
Bob in STL Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 For a while, he was an absolutely amazing kick returned. Might he be a future Wall of Famer? No. McGee was a good player. The WoF is for great.

plenzmd1 Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Will always remember him for the kick return agaisnt New Orleans at the end of the first half...guess I am a typical Biulls fan...a play that just fell short and I remember it like yesterday
Dorkington Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 He'll be a pro-bowler on another team next year.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Weird injury by mcgee. Looked like he just tripped. Also, play wouldn't have happened if they had just upheld the marshall TD catch in the first instance. Such a shame.

McGee was a good player but can't get over the injuries.
Canadian Bills Fan Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 I think Nix has to be active in FA this off season. We have too many needs to address in the draft.
DrDawkinstein Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 McGee and Parrish, two often-injured guys that were good while on the field, but just cant stay on the field. Time to move on from both. Yes we have problems at WR and CB, but both guys are part of the problem (always injured), and not part of the solution.

His best game has to be the 2005 game against the Bengals where he returned a kick and an interception for touchdowns. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/boxscore;_ylt=AvTbybhDg28SOC9eTnQ6xhUdsLYF?gid=20051224004 Edited November 22, 2011 by Carey Bender
