billsfaninnyc Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 I still think its possible that the Jets can go 10-6....down here in NYC, the Pennington/media thing has been a big distraction, NE has to something to prove this weekend, and St. Louis will be fighting for their playoff lives the final week. What would that do for the Bills if the Jets lose out?
Mile High Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 if the jets lose the next two games and we win out than we are in.
Like A Mofo Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 Bills tie the Jets, Bills get the tiebreaker...which woul be ideal because then we would only need 1 of the other 3 teams (Denver, Baltimore and Jacksonville) to lose 1 game to get into the playoffs.
Like A Mofo Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 if the jets lose the next two games and we win out than we are in. 176012 More then likely, but if JAX, BAL and DEN all win out too...we would not make the playoffs.
Johnny Coli Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 The Pats haven't lost back-to-back games in a real long time. So, if the Jets have to go into St.L needing a win, I can see them curling out a big steamer on that carpet. Too much pressure.
BB27 Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 I do agree that there is a good chance that the Jets could lose the next two. It would be quite nice to sneak in to the playoffs and leave the Jets behind. If it happened, and it was Patsies, Steelers, Chargers, Jags, and BILLS, who plays who?

Some chance, but I wouldn't give the RAMS any credibility at this point of the season. They're a trainwreck.
Mile High Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 between the colts and the chargers whoever had the better record would play the bills. at their house.
BB27 Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 and the colts 176028 Forgot about them. Who plays who?
Like A Mofo Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 Based on this, the real game im irritated about now is week 4 at the Meadowlands....we had that game stolen, if the D would have come up big, imagine how big that win would be now!!
Mile High Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 if the colts end up with a better record than the chargers it would look like this: colts vs. bills chargers vs. jags pats and steelers bye pats vs winner of colts vs. bills steelers vs. winner of chargers vs. jags
Rubes Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 Isn't there some way we could just get the whole playoff scenario thing stickied at the top so it's not answered every other day?
